As the waitress brought their order, Carina began to eat, while Nathan just stared at her.

"Let's eat," she said. He nodded, and did as she said.

Nathan suddenly asked her a question that made her choke on her food, almost making her spill the content on his face.

"Here, drink some water." He said, giving her the water that was in the middle of the table. She took a deep breath, and stared at Nathan.

"I'm sorry."

She just nodded, and they ate in silence. It was too awkward, he had to break the silence.

"So, what is your favorite food?"

She smiled, "uh, I love all kinds of food. All, except carrot soup. It makes me want to throw up."

He chuckled, "you're unbelievable. Carrot soup is my best food."

They talked about random things, and laughed their hearts out. It was getting late, so he paid the bills, and they left the restaurant.
