Chapter 37

She woke up the next day to see Fiona staring at her phone.

"Mag, what are you doing with my phone?" She asked.

Fiona turn to her, and with a smile on her face, gave her the phone.

She read the message, and saw the signature at the end of the message. It made her smile, and she felt like someone actually cared for her.

"I think you missed Nathan's calls. About three of them."

Hearing his name made the smile on her face to slowly fade away. She—for a moment, had forgotten about Nathan, and their last night convo. Fiona saw the look on her face, and became worried.

"Did something happen?"

"After you left, he texted me," she said, showing her his message on Instagram. "Then, we had another fight."

"Oh, goodness! I'm sure I told him about your condition," Fiona sighed, "look, Carey. Don't let this get to you. Take care of your health, first. I'm going to work, now. I will see you, when I come back. Please, rest."

She bid her goodbye, and sat on the bed, again. She went to the bathroom to
