He thought he wouldn't let her. He was about to tell her not to mind, if she was not ready. Just as he thought of this, he was taken unawares.

She initiated the kiss.

As her tender lips brushed his, it sent electric waves to his body.

She giggled as she stared at him.

"Be careful. Your eyes might come out of its sockets," she laughed, then wrapped her arms around his neck, "yes, you can kiss me, Nate."

It seemed like he was a robot, waiting for a command to do something. He took her lips, as though he might lose it, if he wasted a second.

She gasped. Maybe, because she had forgotten how it felt to be kissed. When her ex boyfriend kissed her, every night under the tree that was behind their old house.

As her lips parted, he seized the opportunity to delve into her mouth, savouring the taste of her lips.
