Chapter 54

Annabelle cussed out, sighing deeply. Ever since her mother came back to Texas, and moved in with her, she has refused to talk to her mother. She goes to work, very early in the morning, before her mother would even leave her room; and she would late at night, when her mother had gone to bed.

She wished there was another route that led to her room. She really wasn't ready for any conversation with her mother.

"Annabelle, I know that you are mad at me. I admit that I was wrong, and I'm sorry. Let's not fight, anymore. Please," Imelda said, taking slow steps towards her.
