Chapter 68

Andrea left Jayden's room, to the sitting room. It was getting late, she knew, but she needed to clear her head. She could not sleep, and she had no idea where Jayden was.

She sat there, lost in her thoughts, oblivious to the voice that kept calling her. She jolted back, as she felt a hand touch her shoulder.

She clutched the thick lace that covered her body—chest region, and heaved a sigh.

"Uncle," she said, in a whispering tone.

Her uncle, Mr. Fernando had been standing behind her, for a while, but she had not noticed his presence. He had even called her name, but she seemed so lost in thought.

He knew that something was bothering, and suspected that it had something to do with Jayden.

He sat beside her, and studied her facial expression. It seemed like she had been crying.

"What is wrong, Andrea?" He asked.

She shook her head, "no…nothing, uncle."

"So, why are you still up? It's getting late, already," he said, checking the time.

"Oh, I…I'm not sleepy. I just wanted to…to relax,
