Chapter 7

The cashier was shocked. The manager was a highly respected person, and whosever he is bowing down to, must be someone of high caliber. The people who were present too, in the bank had astonished looks on their faces. He was just a delivery guy to them.

Only the Creator knew where the cashier got the courage to question the manager. "Excuse me, sir. Why show so much respect to a delivery guy?"

She received no answer from him, so she asked again.

Rather than get a response, a slap landed on her cheek. The manager had slapped her. "Do you know who this man is?"

She shook her head, telling him expressionally, that she did not know him.

He showed her his Bank ID card. She took the card from him, and gasped in realization. The ID was specifically for Senior VIP clients, who had 50 million dollars in the account. She had first thought he stole it, until she saw his picture on it. As much as she did not want to believe that a delivery guy and the owner of the ID card were one, and the same person, she had no other option, as the proof she could ask for was clearly on it.

She was perplexed as to why such a wealthy person like him will dress up as a delivery guy.

She began to panic, because she knew that she could be fired due to her actions.

"Is this how you operate? This is not right. I am not here for dramas, I will transfer all my money to another bank. Your workers are rude, and lack maaners," he said, keeping an expressionless face.

The manager knelt down, and begged him. The Fernando's had invested in their Bank for years, and they could be fired, if the Board of Directors found out about it. He needed to beg him, and try to convince him to change his mind about transferring to another bank.

"I apologise on her behalf, sir. Please, do not be offended. I am really sorry," he said.

It did not seem convincing enough, so he sort for ways to coax him.

"Please, do not withdraw from the bank, I will do anything, even if it means to fire the cashier." He added.

Immediately she heard the manager's statement the lady fell on her knees, and pleaded. She could not lose her job, as it was what she used to feed her family.

Jayden was tired of the whole drama. He had no time for them. He threw his debit card to her, and asked for a withdrawal of 200,000 dollars.

"I have no time for this drama. I need 200,000 dollars now."

"Did you not hear him? Get it done, now!" He yelled.

"Thank you so much, sir. Thank you, I really appreciate it." The manager said. He was happy that he had forgiven them, and he was able to change his mind. He could not imagine losing their biggest investor.

The cashier quickly picked up the card, and withdrew 200,000 dollars. She needed to act immediately. She tried as much as possible not to piss him off again, not after knowing who he was.

"Here you go, sir. I'm so sorry."

The people, including the security was amazed at how a rich man could disguise as a delivery guy.

He took the money, and left, after giving the cashier and the manager one last look. It was getting late, he needed to get some new clothes, before calling it a day.

He did not care about what they were going to say. He put his money inside the delivery box, and drove away.

Of course, they were going to talk. Immediately he stepped out of the bank, the manager heaved a sigh, and faced the cashier, who had looked away to avoid his gaze.

"You are lucky. Next time this happens, I will not hesitate to fire you."

"I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again," she said.

"It better not happen again. Get back to work!" He left to his office, muttering a few words no one, except him could hear.

"Who would have thought that a guy like him was actually rich?" One of the men said.

"I know right. I wonder if that is the new trend."

"Why the disguise? Couldn't he just be real?" Another one sneered.

Soon, the murmurings waned, and they went about their businesses—transactions, help centre… till it seemed like nothing had happened.

Back in Fernando's Intl., the butler had heard from one of the guards what had transpired downstairs, and had invited the manager.

"Ms. Fiona, the boss wants to meet you." One of the men said.

Mr. Thomas was the Interim CEO, when Jayden had refused to take over. He was appointed by Mr. Fernando, Jayden's father, as Mr. Fernando's brother could not take the position, due to the tasks he had to complete.

While at it, he had tried to convince, and make Jayden see the reasons he should become CEO.

Without Jayden's knowledge, his uncle had been spying on Stephanie. He had known for a while that she was cheating on him, and never truly loved him. He did not want to tell Jayden, because he would have thought it was another plan to change his mind. He wanted him to see it for himself.

On the day Jayden had planned to propose to her, he had known Stephanie was there too, so he waited for Jayden in the Beach House, and as expected, he came.

He had everything ready for him.

He had gotten a call from his brother, Mr. Fernando. "Is everything ready?"

"All set."

"Thank you, Peter."

Mr. Thomas had been working for the Fernando's family for years, that was why he was made the Interim CEO.

"Hello, sir. You sent for me," the manager politely said.

"You know why I called you here."

"I'm really sorry, sir. I have already fired the receptionist as the CEO requested. I will get a replacement, soon."

"Good. You may leave." He said.

"Thank you, sir."

Jayden was on his way to the largest shopping mall, when he got into an accident, luckily, he was not injured.

A car had hit his scooter, making him lose control, and falling down to the floor.

He got up, and picked his scooter.

He checked himself to make sure he was not injured. He lifted up his head to see the person that knocked him down.

He saw a man come out of a luxurious car.

"Not again!"
