Carina couldn't believe her ears. What the hell was wrong with Nathan?

Wasn't he the one, who apologized almost an hour ago? Did he not trust her?

Luckily, no one was close enough to hear the nonsense he spat.

"Nathan, what the hell is wrong with you? What are you talking about?" She said, giving him a confused look.

Nathan scoffed, you know what I'm talking about, Carina. It's 10 minutes past 5pm, and you're leaving the boss' office with a smile on your face. What do you expect me to think?" He said, almost yelling.

Carina knew that it was a misunderstanding. He had actually misunderstood her.

If only she was not blinded by her love for Nathan, maybe she would have noticed that he was clearly not misunderstanding her.
