A WEEK later, Francis was able to reduce his charges about the case with the hospital. It was because of his good deeds, the lack of direct involvement in the case, and various charities that the lawyers used to get the jury and the judge’s mercy.

Instead of a criminal charge, he got regulatory sanctions instead.

“The health department had found proof with the doctors’ conclusions about their patients—Including Mrs. Cecile Johens,” said the lawyer who was holding a thick white paper. “It was proven that some of the doctors were accepting bribes and making corruption in the hospital…”

The lawyer stated afterward that those specific doctors should be fined and terminated from their jobs. Their medical licenses were revoked, too, to which Francis had agreed immediately,
