Jason gave the men a perplexed look, was it him they were addressing or someone else?
Young master. Very funny, he scoffed.
It probably was someone else, Jason thought and continued walking.
"Young master!" One of the men called and quickly ran up to him.
"Is it me you're talking to?" Jason asked the man in black with a bewildered look on his face.
"Yes, young master. If you'd please come with us." The man told him.
"Come with you, where?" Jason asked taking a step away from the man.
"You'll know when we get there, sir." The man replied.
Jason was about to sprint away when he bumped into another man in black.
"Get out of my way. Did Hudson pay you guys to do this? Who the hell are you people?" Jason asked, looking around, searching for a means of escape.
"Sir, we would like to avoid causing any unnecessary scenes here. Please just come with us." The first man said, his hand going to his face as he scratched in a shifty way, taking note of how passersby stopped to look at them.
"If you're so worried about causing a commotion, why don't you leave me the hell alone?" He asked, preparing to run off.
"We didn't want to do this but seeing as you are being difficult, it seems like we have no other option." The man said with resignation in his voice.
He looked at the two other men standing behind Jason and with a nod of his head they took a hold of Jason's arms.
"Fuck. Not this again!" Jason screamed and struggled out of their hold before elbowing the man closest to him.
"Young master, you're going to hurt yourself. You need to stop." The man said taking note of Jason's already broken nose, bruised face and scuffed knees.
"Whatever happens to me is none of your damn business. Now fuck off and leave me the hell alone." Jason said balling up his hands to throw another punch.
"What are you waiting for, do the needful and restrain him." The man ordered and two other men appeared from nowhere and put cuffs around Jason's arm.
"Get these things off me!" Jason shouted, anger filled in his voice.
"We apologize, young master, but this is unavoidable." The man said and turned around walking back to the car.
"Let go of me." Jason screamed again causing people to look at them.
The men paid him no mind and simply dragged him to the car and forced him inside the back of the car.
They were kidnapping him, but they were also treating him like a guest?
Jason thought it was weird the respect they spoke to him with, and the caution they handled him with.
He sat alone in the back of the car. The car had looked very expensive from the outside but the inside confirmed it. The seats were made from pure leather.
Jason wanted to admire the car's interiors further but then the other side of the car opened and the leader sat with him and suddenly all that rage and anger returned.
He looked out the window and saw the car had started moving, further away from the school and closer to wherever they were taking him.
"Who the hell are you people and what do you want with me?" Jason asked the man for the one millionth time.
The man exhaled deeply before going to address him. It was as if he was restrainning himself from saying something he shouldn't.
"I apologize for the inconvenience the cuffs seem to be causing you, sir, but this is beyond my control." The man said and stared straight ahead.
"Is Hudson the one behind this? He paid you to do this, didn't he?" Jason yelled, barely holding himself from lunging at one of the men.
"We know of no Mr. Hudson, sir."
Jason sat still shaking with anger. He had thought that the one week suspension he was given was enough to suffer because of Hudson, so why were these men here taking him to some unknown place?
And what was with the stupid talk and charade?
He thought of everyone that he had offended that could have arranged this set up. This was basically a kidnapping. Who could have done this to him?
As far as he knew, Hudson was the only person he knew that could pull this sort of kidnapping off, in broad daylight and get away with it. Thanks to his rich daddy being the mayor.
Jason looked out the window and saw that they were heading towards the outskirts of town.
His thoughts ran wild as he observed the lonely stretch of road where they could easily kill him and dispose of him. He was thinking he'd better open the car door and jump out of the moving vehicle when he noticed that the car was slowing down. He focused his eyes and saw that they were driving up to a very large gate.
He noticed that there were several men in black that stood before the gate, all armed and their eyes following every movement made by the car.
He peered his head out the window and felt the wind hit his face.
After some time the car came to a stop before the gate and a man approached the car. Shortly afterwards they were let through.
The car drove up the paved road that never seemed to end. He took in the sights, from the several duplexes clustered around at one end to the environment. The bushes were trimmed, there were flowers that followed from the beginning of the road to the end.
His eyes took in everything and he suddenly seemed out of breath when he saw the magnificent mansion standing before him when the car came to a stop.
The house was large enough to fit in 200 of his tiny ridiculous squalor of an apartment.
The man in the car with him took off his handcuffs, there was a tinge of red on his wrists from his struggles. The car door was opened and the man ushered him out.
He flexed his wrists to get the blood running again before he stepped down.
He took in a deep breath and turned around to take it all in. There was another set of men standing guard in front of the house and he could see several more surrounding the house.
It seemed that whoever arranged for all of this was filthy rich and could have easily finished him off. So why did they bring him here?
Their leader motioned for him to follow him as he took him inside the house.
They climbed the short stairs to the creamy brown doors and he was let in. The foyer was cool, and the polished floors gleamed with an immaculate shine that made Jason think of removing his dirty shoes.
He was in shock as he followed the man into an elevator.
Who had a private elevator installed in their house?
Jason stared mutely at everything, his eyes flying to everything and anything.
They took the elevator from the ground floor, to what seemed to be three floors up. They approached a door after exiting the elevator.
Artworks adorned the walls on each side of Jason, and the house felt empty. It had no signs of being lived in.
The walls were white and extremely high up. The high ceilings gave off the feeling of a castle.
The doors at the end of the hallway opened before they even got close to it, like there was someone operating it from somewhere.
He followed the man and walked in, uncertain of what awaited him.
The marble floors he saw looked so shiny that he was sure that if he smiled, his reflection would blind him.
"This is where I leave you sir." The man said and started to go back.
"Where the hell are you going? You brought me here." Jason all but screamed at him.
Jason could practically feel his heart falling to his stomach as he pushed the door open, he took a deep breath before walking in.
He looked up and saw an eccentric looking old man. He stood tall in his dark grey suit, although Jason was taller at 6 '5, and had a razor sharp nose fixed to a wrinkling face. His eyes struck Jason though, they shined with a youth that bellied the man's age.
The man sprung up from his chair, eyes widening in shock and changing to surprise…
He stood for some minutes before he walked towards Jason, who took a step back from the strange face.
This was not Hudson.
The man exhaled heavily and stood before him.
He brought his hands to Jason's face before he finally spoke.
"My dear boy, you look just like your father."
Bison stared at the old man in bemusement, more than a little taken aback by the man's familiarity with him. He took a step back from the old man.The man arched his brow, letting his hand drop in disappointment. He looked sad for some reason. Jason looked around the room, finally taking notice of a girl, a few years older than him, standing by the old man's desk. He remembered he'd been forcefully brought here. "Are you people insane?" Jason blurted out. He had just been kidnapped by these people and they were looking at him as if he was their savior."Excuse me?" The young girl spoke up, arching a well carved brow in a show of arrogance that was second skin to those filthy rich people Jason always saw in the movies. "Who the hell are you people?" Jason continued, completely ignoring Anna's question and glaring daggers at the two of them."We are your family, Jason." The old man answered, taking a step closer to him."No, you are not." Jason replied."I am your grandfather, Jason.
“Wait a minute,” Jason shifted back, his hands running over his face in jerky motions. “I can't be your grandson. I was raised by my grandparents. I have my own family.” The disbelief and frustration was rife in Jason's voice. The lady smiled for the first time, also moving closer to Jason. “That's because we lost you. Grandpa can explain everything to you later…cousin.”Jason laughed then, shaking his head. “This can't be true.”Sensing Jason's frustrated disbelief, the doctor took the files from the desk and crossed to Jason's side, handing them to him a little too reverently. Jason's eyes read the words slowly, over and over again.A 99.9 percent match to Robert Charleston. That was the old man. Jason rubbed his eyes, but the words were still smack in his face. “How?” He whispered, handing back the DNA test results to Robert. Anna answered him. “You're Jason Charleston. You're the heir to Charleston group of companies and that includes the $60,000,000,000 your father left yo
Jason stalked towards his grandmother, his hands shaking with rage. He held onto her shoulders and helped her to her feet. "What the hell is going on here?' He demanded immediately. He could hardly restrain himself from punching Hudson out of respect for his grandmother."What does it look like, you fool? Your pathetic excuse of a grandmother, is begging me not to have you suspended so that you do not miss your exams. Tell me why I should listen to the old hag and pardon you." Hudson said, smugly stuffing his hands into his pockets with his chest puffed out."What do you mean she's begging you?" Jason asked almost exploding with anger. His hands fisted by his side's."Is that not right old woman? Now get on your knees and beg." Hudson kept his eyes on Jason's grandmother, arrogance ringing in his every word. He really believed everyone bowed to his pompous ass, and would always end up kissing his ass, one way or another."Is it true, grandmother?" Jason asked her incredulously, his
Jason paused and glanced up when he noticed that people were stepping away from him and Hudson. He sat on the whimpering Hudson's chest, his bloodied fist about to demolish what was left of the dumb fucks face. One look at the school director standing over them made him breathe, finally the haze cleared and he could hear his grandmother crying. Hudson used the distraction and shoved Jason away from him and quickly standing and stumbling on his feet before going to where Mia was standing. She quickly flung herself into Hudson who wrapped his arm around her.Jason's grandmother ran to Jason, hitting his upper left arm with her tiny purse. “I told you not to do it, I told you!”Jason pushed himself up and stood before the director whose face was red with anger. His bald head beamed in the harsh sunlight. "What happened here?" He demanded, surveying both Hudson and Jason. He faced Hudson, giving Jason his back. "Your pathetic, poverty stricken, scholarship student hit me!" Hudson's wo
Laughter rang out in all directions as the whole school mocked Jason. The director chuckled, “What a hilarious young man.”Jason's grandmother couldn't stand it anymore. She dragged him to the side, trying to find a little privacy to speak to him, try and dissuade him and get him back to his right senses, but avid eyes followed them everywhere. Her grip on his wrist tightened and she simply lowered her voice to an urgent whisper. “Jason, my little boy, I know how hard this is for you. They always treat us poor people like dirt. I have grown so used to it, but now I can see that being poor makes things so hard for you everywhere you go.”She swallowed, eyes brimming with unshed tears. The people who could hear bits of what she was saying strained to hear more. “This boy, Jason, he's even worse than anything we've ever encountered. Jason, he has no soul and no sympathy for the likes of us. Please, let's just stop this madness and go home.”Jason was already shaking his head before hi
Cold sweat broke out on Jason's forehead as he glanced up from the POS system’s screen. What the fuck was happening?“Transfer failed? What do they mean 'transfer failed’?” He asks the director, wide eyed, while Hudson triumphantly went to tell his fans what had happened. The director arched an eyebrow, as if to say he wasn't surprised. “Young man, you don't have the money in your bank account. How can you possibly transfer such a large amount of money when you don't have it?”The director who looked annoyed with Jason shoved the black card back into Jason's hanging hand, his face red with anger. "You dare to waste my time, boy, stand us all out here to play your fantasy games."Hudson's gloating voice reached Jason's ears. “Damn fucker doesn't have a dime. He's finally gone full crazy!”Jason ran his bruised hands over his face in disbelief. “No…no, something's wrong. It's supposed to pay, I know.”“Conniving bastard. You're a low life, Jason, accept your true place in life and pull
Hudson looked at Jason with eyes as wide as saucers like he had grown another head in a second."You must be out of your fucking mind if you think that I am going to strip and run before the whole lot of you miserable fools." Hudson said to Jason."Jason, I think it would be best if you both came with me to my office. There we can resolve this whole issue amicably without any need of humiliating anyone." The director said, ready to cover up for Hudson. He was secretly hoping he could keep Jason's money and equally salvage the situation so he didn't lose the mayor in this youthful exuberance of Hudson's. But Jason point blank refused to even be persuaded. He shook his head in disagreement."That was not the deal Hudson and I made. I know it, he knows it, you know it. Everyone here knows that. Why does he get away without fulfilling his end of the deal?" Jason hollered at the director. The director walked closer to Jason and spoke to him in a whisper."He's not getting away with anythi
Hudson's eyes dilated in terror as Anna began to count."Wh… what the hell are you doing?" Hudson asked her but Anna ignored the question.Jason stood behind Anna with a grin pulling at his lips."Seven…six..five.." Anna continued. The bodyguards behind them started forward, when Anna hit the fifth count, going straight for Hudson. They were ready to tear him to pieces."Call them off. Call off your goons, you Idiot." Mia screamed at Anna."Three…two…" Anna continued."Okay!" Hudson screamed.Anna tilted her head at him."Okay what?" She asked him."I will do it." Hudson replied."Do what?" Anna asked again."I'll…I'll do it. I'll strip.' He said with tears brimming in his eyes."And?" Anna queried with a satisfied smirk."I'll strip and run." He whispered."What? Hudson you can't do that. You can't be serious." Mia shouted at him."Shut up!" He hissed at her."Alright then. Get on with it." Anna ordered him.The crowd inched closer as many of them took out their cellphones and began
