Chapter 6: It's all about Work.

"The company has made its profit over the past few months but the losses are there as well, if the Company is to continue this way, you know what it means"

George was trying to keep his gaze on the CEO of the Kirkland branch this entire time, it was still a little difficult for him to look anyone right into their eyes but he knew he had to since he was the Chairman. His assistant, Sawyer, stood by his side.

"That's alright, what about the other company you were supposed to look into?"

"I did look into it, Sir"

"Tell me about it. However, I would not adjust the positions in the company no matter what, you can still manage it as usual, wouldn't you?"

"That would be an honour, Sir"

The CEO felt relieved. George shot a smile at him, the only thing he wanted was revenge.

"How many days?"

"Huh? I don't understand what you are trying to say sir"

"How many days will it take to purchase and take control of the company that I told you to look into"

"Honestly, I don't remember such a company existed in this city, it is just a middle-aged company with no more than 200 employees. It was only when I received the documents of the company  was I even able to tell that the company was in this city"

George didn't say a word and pretended to be going through the documents right before him, that was his former workplace.

The CEO observes George closely and he finds it wondered why he paid attention to his such Company.

"So how long will it take for me to make the company?"

George asked again, realising that the CEO had not given him any answer.

"It will take up to three days, Sir. It will all be yours, the company, and the staff"

George leaned back in his seat, old memories jumped into his mind for a moment and he pushed it off.

"I want the company to go bankrupt, I want the CEO to leave with nothing, can you do that?*

"Of course, I can do that Sir"

"How long will it take for me to own everything and for the CEO to wallow in misery?"

"It will take a week sir since we have to set some things in place"

"I don't care what you have to set  in Ave Mr. Raymond, just make sure that i acquire that company in one week and the CEO lives miserably"

"I will meet with the major shareholders and purchase all of the shares, when the shares have been transferred to you, You will become the biggest shareholder in that company".

George liked the idea.

"What about the Boss of that company?"

"He will be bankrupt as you wanted sir, he will get investigated as the prosecutors will charge into his company when he is accused of embezzlement and mismanagement of company funds. When all of these is going on, the board will have no other choice but to kick him out of the company, everyone will turn their backs on and he will even have to serve some time in prison"

"I look forward to seeing all your plans come to light"

"Thank you, sir"

"You are dismissed"

The CEO got up from his seat and left the office. As George looked around the office, it was almost empty, not the feeling of his former workplace that had his portrait on the mini desk and some of the things that were dear to his heart.

"Should I check up on what's next on your schedule?"

"Forget it, Sawyer"

Standing up, he looked out from the top of the office, it had a beautiful view of the city. This was the place he called home, his past was here and so were his memories, his experiences, everything that he once was, and everyone that he once knew lived in this city.

"What's on your mind, Sir?"

"There is something that I need to take care of"

"Should I tell them to get the car ready for your departure?"

"Yes but you should stay here, there is something that I need to retrieve on my own"

"And what is that?"

"Something that is mine"

With that, George left the office heading over to the house that he once lived in, a place that he once called his home.

As the car pulled over to the parking area, George got down heading to a familiar building, and knocked on the door.

"Who the hell is it?"

Alison yelled, furious and George almost jumped. Before George can get to respond, Alison fling the door wide.

As Alison flung the door wide, he Frowned, locking eyes with those familiar Grey eyes. He was surprised to see George standing by the doorstep, he couldn't bring his mouth to move for a moment till he noticed the designer clothes on his body.

"You stupid moron, what are you doing here? Where did you get those clothes? Did you rob a bank or Rob a mall?"

He asked, disgust written all over his face.

He wanted to reply back to him but he pushed the thought aside.

"You scum! I never thought a peasant like you can fit into those good clothes but no matter how you dress you cannot get rid of your stench of poverty. You are a peasant and I just hate peasants like you"

George hates the insults, nevertheless he chooses to keep quiet. He only came to take his box of belongings that he was in his wife's office.

That box contained his experiences for the past twenty-four years of his life.

"I am not here to pick a fight with you"

"You bastard, how dare you talk back to me? Have you gotten that you are nothing but filth, you have nothing to your name which is why my sister dumped you so you can live miserably all the days of your wretched life"

He takes out a dollar note from his pocket and throws it at George's face. Alison was an arrogant and stupid man and George knows that.

"That's payment for the Clothes you stole"

"Who is at the door?"

Margaret asked as she approached.

"It your wretched ex son in law George who apparently borrowed some fine clothes just to impress you, how stupid of him mother"

Margaret was surprised to see him in those good clothes, she was confused. She frowned, disgusted by his presence.

"Why is this disgusting beggar here? Now, I know why I didn't sleep well last night. I can't believe I will see your ugly face again. If I were you, I would hide my face for the rest of my life! How can someone as poor as you still exist in this world? You don't even deserve to breathe the same air that we do"

While Margaret was throwing insults to his face, George remained quiet. Hearing the sudden sound of the car parking in the driveway echoing through the house, George quickly turned back only to see it
