Kate stretched her hands on the bed, in an attempt to place her hand over something, or someone rather, but she couldn't feel anything. She tried again and it was the saw thing. She opened her eyes with a disapproving grumble.

Mario was nowhere to be found and his side of the bed was cold. She stretched her body before getting up from the bed. ‘where could he be?’ She wondered as she went into the bathroom to rinse her mouth. He was not there either.
