CHAPTER FORTY FIVE

Maria stood in her room as she went through their endorsements for the past few weeks. A wide smile crept its way into her lips as she saw the way their company gained more popularity and recognition. She knew the contract would bring her many gains. But she was still concerned about the fact that she had not heard from Owen ever since the day he came to her office to lend a helping hand. He had collected James' address and that was the last time she saw him.

And she had also not heard from James, neither had she heard from the other shareholders. It all seemed surreal, odd but satisfying. She had thought that the shareholders would be on her neck by now, or even withdraw their shares. But it seemed like she was just scared for nothing. All was well and she just had to relax and enjoy her money.
