CHAPTER SIXTY FOUR Rina's emotions were all over the place as she found it hard to concentrate with the unwanted noise in the room. CHAPTER SIXTY FIVE Owen groaned as the blow met his cheeks again. For the past few minutes, Daniel had been sending large blows straight to his face, and Owen couldn't feel his face anymore. CHAPTER SIXTY SIX Rina drove with high speed, cutting through signals and bypassing the traffic lights. She didn't use the high road, as this was rush hour, and it would slow her down. She used the streets and in no time, she was on the right lane. She met up with Owen's men halfway and she parked her car at a garage nearby and got into theirs, and they continued on their journey. She sat in the backseat with Paul, while the driver and another guard took the front seats. CHAPTER SIXTY SEVEN In no time, they arrived at an abandoned building in the outskirts of the town and from the looks of it, that place would be a perfect place for a kidnapper to hide a victim. Although it was day, the building looked dark inside. Kate and Jake parked their car at a corner to avoid being seen, as Kate wanted to avoid getting into a fight with Rina and she knew that that would be impossible if Rina was to set her eyes on her. CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT Tamara and Daniel ran out of the room as soon as the bullet hit Jake. They took the backdoor,along with their companions. Daniel's heart was beating fast, as he ran as fast as his legs could carry, without even looking back. Immediately he got to where his car was parked, he ran into the car and zoomed off, not caring to check if his mother escaped or not. He knew Tamara would always find a way out if she got into trouble, but he would be in deep shit if Owen's people or the authorities found him there. CHAPTER SIXTY NINE Jake lay on the hospital bed, he had just finished receiving his medication as prescribed by the doctor, he had always hated the smell of drugs and hospital beds, but he knew he had to stay if he wanted to look convincing enough. Kate had gone to get him water as that was the excuse he had given her in order to give him the space he needed to make his call to his boss. He knew that his call would be highly expected. Rina and Owen had come by earlier and he could see the guilt on Owen's face, as he blamed himself for the unexpected turn of events, but the look in Rina's eyes was far more. She had this suspicious look in her eyes, as she couldn't really trust him, he didn't know why, but he felt like it was about the fact that she claimed she knew him, but he couldn't really recognize her. Rina seems like one hell of a nut to crack, she was just too good. Now he knew why Owen wanted her by his side. She was sly, cunning and gentle, all at the same time.

CHAPTER SEVENTY “How are you feeling?” Rina asked Owen. They had just come back from the hospital after the checkup. The doctors had discharged him as his injuries were not all that serious and Owen had told them that he wouldn't want to be admitted, so they had discharged him after the checkup. CHAPTER SEVENTY ONE A week had passed, the wedding had come and gone, they celebrated it in a small way, inviting only their family members and close friends. Owen and Rina were in attendance, as they had also been invited to the wedding. They had done the preparations and the celebration really fast, almost like a shotgun wedding. The police had come for questioning, thankfully after their wedding vows. Kate had noticed that Esme was not really concerned when she heard what had happened. It seemed like she was even coercing her not to go with the wedding plans, and she was surprised with her behavior.
