Sophia felt like her head was hit with an hammer.

Disown? How?

She couldn't comprehend her father's threat and looked at him with disbelief.

"You're going to disown me?!" She asked with an expression of incredulity.

"You think I can't?" Oliver glowered, not backing down.

He was finally enraged. It was like a thread had snapped within him. He no longer held any desire for Sophia to suck up to him or not.

it wasn't as though she had even treated him the way he wanted before; she had always been manipulating him to do her wishes. He knew about it but still he kept falling prey to it. But now, all those feelings and expectations could go to hell!

Sophia recoiled once again in slight fear. At that moment, she came to realise that something had changed in her father and there was no going back. But she still couldn't take it...

"You wouldn't dare!" She yelled with some summoned confidence. She wanted to call Oliver's bluff.
