"So how are we going to do this? Are we going to help them rebuild or bring them to the next town?" Chris asked.

Luke wasn't sure what he had been expecting, but it certainly wasn't this. It seemed like they had forgotten all about asking where Violet had come from. Well, that was for the best. It would bring up too many awkward questions that couldn't be answered. However, he knew it would eventually be brought up later, so he needed to prepare for that.

"Wouldn't it be better to help them rebuild?" asked Grace.

Theodore scoffed. "You expect us to do manual labor after the stunt they pulled."

Grace looked hurt by his words, but she didn't dare speak out. After all, he had been the one most affected by what happened, even though the party had received the same treatment. It made sense that he was unwilling to help them out after what happened. The only reason he was helping was because of the quest. Otherwise, Luke was certain he would walk away.
