“Son of a whore! I’ll fucking kill you!” Woodruff roared as his heart brimmed with uncontrollable anger. He pointed a finger at William before dashing towards him with folded fists. There was no doubt at this point that the partnership between him and Veronica had come to an end. To be honest, there was barely a tangible partnership to begin with. The second that female McArthur bodyguard gave the order, William witnessed with wide eyes as twelve of his bodyguards seemed to blur from their position around him. At first, he didn’t realize what had happened until he caught the afterimages. Veronica did not like the look of things. While she was currently using all the creatures she had bought with her, William still had a very few number of McArthur bodyguards protecting him. Immediately, all twelve McArthur bodyguards forgot the four creatures throwing stuff at them as they dashed towards the now wobbling management tower to save William and stop those two creatures. Thus, they intercepted them by smashing into them from the sides. All their focus has been turned to getting to those two creatures before they completely cause the management tower to collapse on itself.
