William’s first perception was the beeping sound, followed by the moderately familiar scent. Finally, he let out the weakest groan possible as he struggled to open his eyes.

“Young Master, you’re awake! Thank goodness.” A familiar calm voice spoke these words. Following this, a couple of footsteps could be heard coming closer to the patient’s bed.

William groaned once again as he struggled to adjust his eyesight to the light.

He was getting increasingly certain who was in this room with him. “Butler M…Mike, is that you?” He asked weakly as his pair of eyes slowly shifted to the right edges to find the figure of the middle-aged man walking towards him with a calm smile.
