ur stupid wristwatch. I work my ass off every day to provide for myself; I am not a thief.”
“Then you wouldn’t mind us searching then?” Donald spoke for the first time since this incident started.
This made Tracy extremely worried. If Donald was supporting this claim, it means he might have planted some evidence on William. The Camillo twins were complementary opposites. While Wilson is the brute brawn, Donald is the cunning brain. They definitely came prepared.
Unfortunately, Williams did not know the twins like Tracy did. “Sure, I have nothing to hide.” He knew he didn’t steal anything.
Once it was decided, Donald ordered one of the students he came with to search William's belongings. William's clothes were thoroughly searched, disregarding the pain he felt as his body was still healing. Then they moved on to his school bag, throwing his books and other stuff out carelessly.
“I found it!”
"What?!" William, Andre, and Tracy exclaimed with a shocked expression.
Everyone gathered around to find this was truly Wilson’s two hundred and fifty thousand dollars wristwatch.
“Damn! To think I was actually starting to doubt if he really was the thief!”
“Damn manipulator and thief.”
The crowd had begun throwing insults at William. Meanwhile, Andre looked at his friend in shock.
William saw this. “Andre, you have to believe that I didn’t take it.”
"I believe you," Tracy spoke with confidence before turning to her brothers. “Because I’m sure these two must have planted it on you.”
“Tracy, I don’t care what you say. The evidence speaks for itself.” Donald stood calmly with a smirk as he stared at William. “I think it’s high time we called the police on you. We can’t keep allowing this awful behavior of yours, William. Just because you’re riddled with poverty does not give you the right to steal from others.”
“You can arrest him on your own time.” Wilson smashed his fist against his palm. “My friends and I would like to beat him up first.”
The crowd began to close in on William when Andre shielded him with his body. “Back off, you psychos! You’re not laying a hand on him. I know my friend didn’t steal that watch.”
“Hold this one away!” A pissed Wilson ordered his friends. It took a while before they could pull Andre away from William. Finally, they were about to begin beating William when a security man showed up.
Fighting was not allowed on school grounds so everyone dashed away from the premises to avoid trouble except for William, Andre, Wilson, and Donald; even Ayra had run away. The four men found Tracy behind the security man and they realized she must have called him over.
It didn’t take long before William and Wilson found themselves in the Vice Chancellor’s office.
At the VC's office, both parties told their side of the incident, though Wilson lied a lot. During this, William noticed something.
The VC, Roman Brakovic, listened to both parties with different attitudes. The man looked at him with disinterest while he showed more receptivity to Wilson.
“By the way, Wilson, how is your father? It’s been a while since I saw him at the club.”
Wilson smirked as he sat unrestrained in his seat like he was at his friend's house. "Dad is doing great. He wants me to tell you that he will be making his yearly donation to this institution by this week.”
Roman Brakovic’s face lit up. “Perfect!”
Seeing this, a wave of exhaustion washed over Williams. The VC seemed to be good friends with Woodruff Camillo. There was no way the VC would judge this situation fairly.
“William, I have heard a lot of horrible things about you but I looked away from them because of your great academic performance. But it seems you have gone too far this time.” The VC’s voice held no emotion in them. “For the sake of Bel Air University’s reputation, I regret to inform you that you’re hereby expelled from the institution and denied access to all its programs.”
Wilson cheered with a joyful smirk as William folded in his seat, covering his eyes as he began crying profusely.
His life was over.

Somewhere Unknown,
A man walked into an exquisite office. “Sir, I have great news!”
A man seated behind a large desk nodded. “And what is that?”
“We found your daughter and I just learned that she has a son.”
The man finally jerked up in alarm. “Are you absolutely sure?!”
“For the sake of Bel Air University’s reputation, I regret to inform you that you’re hereby expelled from the institution and all its programs.”Those words from the VC’s mouth sent despair coursing through William. As soon as he left the man’s office, he had been escorted by security to leave the university grounds. He stood outside the gate, watching as Wilson, Donald, and Ayra mocked him. Wilson even gave him a solid punch to his jaw right before the university gate closed in his face. Yet, William didn’t have it in him to be angry, not when he had just been expelled. Studying at Bel Air University, though hard, was a guaranteed way to gain access to a great future for him in the future; this had been the sole reason for persisting this long. But now, everything was gone. He had been struck over and over again by the Camillo twins until he was left with nothing.“William! What happened?!”Andre and Tracy had just rushed over to the gate to find William standing outside of it. The
“Sir, he’s awake!”William could see two men coming towards his bed. The closer one looked to be in his forties; he had a refined aura about him. The man behind him, on the other hand, looked to be in his seventies; he had a more imposing and dominating aura about him.“Who are you guys?” William’s eyes shifted from their faces to the nurses. The two men didn’t get to answer before the female doctor came in to check up on him. As soon as William saw her face, the memories of the last words she said to him came rushing back. “Mom! Is my mom really dead?” His eyes teared up as he knew the answer he was going to get deep down. The female doctor looked at him with pity. “My condolences, Mr. William.” She took a moment of silence for the dead before turning to the two men. “He’s going to be fine. He had simply passed out from deep stress and grief. Though we found extra bruises all over his body, he should be fine.”“Thank you, Doctor. We’ll take it from here.” The man in his forties nodd
When William stepped out of the office, he could see a fleet of luxurious cars lined up. Before him stood a Rolls-Royce Phantom trailed behind by six GMC Yukon SUVs. These were all expensive cars right in front of his eyes. He was a smart young man, and he easily deduced all these belonged to the man in his seventies. What was even scarier was the heavy line-up of professional security men in front of the cars.Once these numerous security men saw who had come out of the hospital, they bent their torso forward in a smart bow. “Boss!”Whether it was the sight of the intimidating-looking men or the unified welcome, William couldn’t take it anymore and he ran back into the hospital.“Young Master William, wait!” Mike immediately followed him; Bill McArthur was right behind him. “Where are you going?”William turned around with fear and confusion in his eyes. “I..I must be high on some ecstasy drug right now. I need to go get myself checked.”“You think you’re drugged?” There was amuseme
“William, I’ll explain everything to you, if you give me a chance.” Bill remained seated, looking at the flustered young man.“I really am related to the McArthur?” Even though William knew his mother had the same last name as this man, he didn’t dare indulge the thought that they were related in any way, and yet, it truly did turn out that way. William slowly sat back down; he was still a little dazed. “Okay, I’m listening.”Bill shared a glance with Mike. “Sarah McArthur is the only child I ever had with my late wife. I loved her with everything as a father should, and she grew up to be a brilliant woman.” Bill’s warm gaze suddenly turned cold. “Then your father, Derek Chain, came along and destroyed it all.”“My father?” William looked at the man with confusion."Your biological father was a poverty-stricken man who had managed to worm his way into my daughter’s heart, and she ended up falling deeply in love with him.” Bill banged the table in anger.“Easy there, Master McArthur.”
“Just to be clear, you’re saying the family business is a Trillion-dollar Empire?!” William stared at his grandfather in utter shock.Billiard chuckled at the somewhat comical expression on William’s face before glancing at Mike. “Fill in my grandson, will you?”Mike nodded with a warm smirk. "Young Master William, the McArthur Empire is a primary shareholder and secondary conglomerate mega-corporation."William nodded his head despite his slight confusion. “You mean our empire primarily owns and maintains company stocks as a Holding Company while complete ownership of multiple company branches comes second?”Billiard chuckled. “Well done, my grandson! You’re just as brilliant as I’ve been told!”"So how much stocks do the family empire control, and how much belongs to us?" William refused to dwell on the compliment from his grandfather, which warmed his heart a lot. Apart from his mother, he rarely got any compliments from the people around him.“Every single piece of company stock u
“Once you do that, you’ll officially be the true and undisputable heir of the McArthur.”After those words fell on William's ears, he couldn't help the doubt that rose in his heart. All his life, he had grown up in poverty and had to deal with so much humiliation just to survive. Now, he's seated before one of the most powerful men in the entire world, who turned out to be his grandfather, and he is now being handed access to all the assets in trillions of dollars. Is he worthy of getting all this? Can he guarantee he has what it takes to uphold such a powerful name and make his dead mother proud? Memories of the degrading names that people like Donald, Ayra, and Wilson had called him began flooding in and his heart began racing as he was quickly drowning in self-doubt.Meanwhile, Billiard, who had spent his whole life learning how to read people's intentions through their eyes, could see the doubt being reflected in his grandson's eyes. He kept quiet though as he stared at him. He k
"Mr. Mike, this is worth more than $20 million!" William couldn't look away from the object on the table where he was seated.“Please, call me Head-Butler Mike, Young Master William. It’s more appropriate that way.” Mike slightly bowed with a smile. “As for this, Master Bill instructed that I get you the latest phone as we noticed you were using a thoroughly outdated one. It’s beneath the McArthur status to be caught with such an old item that holds no value.”William could only murmur his reply to Mike's words as his eyes remained glued on the rectangular object. Right in front of his eyes is the latest version of a top-tier phone brand. What made this so expensive was the fact that the phone's entire body is made with 24-carat gold while the screen is made out of the purest diamonds. After minutes of staring at the phone like it would disappear at any time, William finally found the strength to look away as he turned to Billiard. “Grandpa, isn’t this a little too much?” Though he fe
Billiard nodded once he saw this. “William, as the true heir to the empire, you have now been granted access to twenty percent of the family’s treasure vaults across the various banks in the world.”William whipped his head up so fast, that his neck made a sharp crack. “What?!” He only got another head nod from his grandfather and he waited until all the notifications had completely popped up before he went through each one. "Grandpa, these are welcome messages from over forty banks across the continent!"Mike remained standing with his usual calm demeanor. “Do you recognize any of these bank names, Young Master?”William nodded as he kept going through the notifications to find there were all welcome messages. “Of course I do! These are some of the biggest banks in the world, and they are all congratulating me on my access to the McArthur vault.” He turned his head to look at his grandfather. “Is this what I think it is?”“What do you think this is about?” Billiard had a mischievous
