When Charlie heard David asking him not to shoot, he sighed in relief. However, Charlie maintained a flat stare to remain convincing.

“If you shoot, the moment I die, my eight bodyguards will definitely kill you! The bullets in your gun aren’t enough to take them all down!” David said confidently.

“Ah, I see,” Charlie pretended to agree with David’s words.

Soon after, Charlie said, “So, what do you think we should do now?”

David wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, then forced a smile and said, “Don’t shoot, and I won’t order my guards to take you out. Let’s go our separate ways, and everyone will be safe. How about that?”
