Chapter 13 - Appearance of an Irregular

"Noah Taylor...? Why is he here''

Park hyungsung, the report that was waiting for Roger in the parking lot said to see a familiar face in the center of the gathering.

Noah Taylor, the 6th son of the Taylors, although not as popular as his other siblings, was quite a popular person. He was a C- rank awakener, although C-rank may seem good in the eyes of common people, the descendent of Taylors being in the C-rank even after 8 years of awakening was shameful for Taylors.

'I didn't think there would be a bigger headline than the Awakening of Useless son-in-law!'

It was only before a week that he got a call, informing him that Roger Taylor would be there on Awakener's association for registering himself as a Hunter, Even though Roger is considered a worthless son-in-law by the Taylors, the World nonetheless deemed him as a Taylor, so it was natural that any news about them would be trending.

Reporter Park thought that it would be a major headline about his awakening, but seeing as the 6th son of the Taylors was also there, it didn't seem like Roger would get any attention from the media.

"Seeing as how they are talking it doesn't seem to be just an attention-seeking act, what is the matter, John?"

He asked his cameraman who was standing beside him.

"Apparently, it seems like the appearance of another irregular!!"

Report park exclaimed as he heard his words,

If nothing unexpected happened, then he would be a Hunter with tremendous growth and power. They were so rare to the point that there were only 10 Irregulars so far in the country among which only seven were combatants, so if there appeared another Irregular in the country then the attention of the whole nation would obviously shift there.

"Why don't we have information about such a huge matter then?"

The matter of Taylor's son-in-law awakening was definitely a scoop but compared to the appearance of a new irregular, it was just a gossiping matter.

"Apparently, it was revealed that he was an Irregular only after his examination this morning and more than that, both his special skills don't seem to have anything to do with combat or anything related to dungeons"

"Then...?" Reporter park asked him.

"He was awakened with skills called 'Animal speech' and 'Nurture', both of which are deemed ineffective on monsters, all he could do was to rear some domestic animals, We also got a call this morning about the news, but it was disregarded as it doesn't seem to make any scoop"

He patiently explained the news to the reported park.

"Then why is the 8th son of the Taylors here?"

He was still stuck in the same question about the appearance of Noah Taylor.

"It seems like he came here immediately after hearing the news about the appearance of Irregular to recruit him, you do know how fierce the Taylors are when it comes to dominating new talents right? but he gave up that thought seeing his abilities were useless and was just returning"

Now the whole thing made sense.

Whatever may happen, the scoop about Taylor's Son-in-law's awakening still seemed to be the hottest news. So naturally, he was happy.

"There he comes, Roger Taylor!"

Someone among the group shouted as a luxurious car was parked not far from them.

The driver came out first and opened the back door, from there descended a man with dirty bloon hair and a handsome face.

'Damn bastards! He is at least a five..no ten times better looking than there'

He thought seeing Roger getting out of the car and walking towards the association.

Roger already got the gist of the things just a minute after he arrived there.

'Should I also announce myself as an Irregular?', He thought for a movement as that would be the best way to make his father-in-law turn around to look at him.

'Well, it would be more effective if the association announce it'

He thought as he imagined the surprised face that his beloved wife would make when she found that out.

Thinking so he strode towards the association entrance.

"So the reason he was here was that he wanted to recruit the new Irregular to his faction?"

He asked in a low voice still smiling at the cameras that were taking his pictures.

"He initially came here for that purpose but now that the mentioned Irregular is useless, he withdrew his offer and is returning now"

She explained what she learned in the short movement that they came down from the car.

"hmm...Harry"

He stopped for a movement and called out to Harry who was standing beside the car.

Harry, as soon as he heard him, went running towards him, "Yes, Master"

"Find the Irregular that was registered today and invite her to our House"

He instructed him before continuing to walk, Now that he had some means to check out the status of a person, it wouldn't be too bad to look at it himself, who knows he may have some hidden talents or information.

Just when he was about to ignore the 6th son standing among reporters, he heard a call.

Noah Taylor smiled broadly as he called out Roger. The voice was kind and filled with pleasant touch, if anyone who didn't know about them, could misunderstand that they were so close, actually, that was what was happening there.

In response to his call, Roger who was originally planning to ignore him gave a fake smile, and Linda who was beside him frowned.

There was a reason why she frowned like that!

It was because the one who constantly humiliated Roger and even beat him up sometimes(Yep! that bastard in the first chapter) was none other than him, Noah Taylor, the sixth son of the Taylors.
