64. Rats in Hiding

Warrick stared at the three men for a while before gazing in another direction, checking on Aelish, who had somehow left.

It seemed that she had run off with Blade. It was a good decision. Warrick would not have to divide his attention since she had gone. His words to Wesley about her were a lie.

Granted, their relationship had not progressed. But Warrick considered Aelish to be the person he trusted the most.

Even after going through various events, her attitude had not changed. That was more than enough.

"So, you were trained by the special forces," Warrick released Wesley as the men walked over him. He tilted his head. "Interesting. This isn't the first time I've faced people like you."

Wesley, already hidden behind his subordinates, clenched his fists in irritation. "You're too arrogant! The special forces can't compare to the people you've been fighting so far!"

"But I fought a special forces member once. Not sure if you know him, but he's Amos Pearson."
