Longwei had not been talking low so when the crowd of disciples heard him, it felt like they were about to cough up a mouth of blood from anger. Being called a dog by a Foundation Building brat and not being able to respond, and then having salt rubbed on their wounds was tantamount to being slapped in the face repeatedly.
"That's young master Longwei right? How could he have such a vicious mouth despite being a little brat?" One disciple said while clenching his teeth.
"That's not all, not only does he have a vicious mouth, I even heard that he would suppress cultivation base and dress up in worn-out robes, then go around beating up the arrogant debauchees from the major sects and clans."
Another disciple chimed in and said, "That right, I heard rumors about how he's constantly changing his appearance that even the members of his clan don't know how he actually looks. If it wasn't for that one time when a debauchee's uncle, who was a sect elder, got involved and caused him to showed his Wu Clan identity medallion to get away with his beatings, we wouldn't have known he was the notorious 'debauchee executioner.'
This time the disciples were talking in hush whispers, but Longmin had been able to pick up on some of the words being thrown around.
And he couldn't help but become shocked.
'Debauchee executioner? Just how the heck did my brother manage to get such a name?'
Longmin had been kept in the clan by his father ever since he was little, so he had no idea his brother had such a reputation outside of the clan.
Turning to look at Longwei, Longmin said, "Just how often did you go about your sadistic hobby for you to have been branded with such a title? Matter of fact, why did you even pick up such a hobby in the first place?"
"You," was Longwei's reply.
Longmin mouth became agape.
"How could I have been the reason for you to become such a sadistic maniac? You're definitely lying."
"You know little brother, I don't like how you're calling me a sadistic maniac, and I'm definitely not lying. I haven't told you this before, but it's thanks to your Thousand Faces Rune Inscription that you created back when we first started cultivating, that gave me the idea to do my great deeds. I even had granduncle infused his aura into the inscriptions so I could fool Sage experts… hehe."
Longwei chuckled darkly.
Longmin on the other hand had a befuddled look on his face upon hearing his brother's words.
Within the crowd, the disciples were still talking.
"If that's young master Longwei in his disguise, does that mean that's his brother on his left?" One disciple asked.
"Yes that's right, he's the second-born son of the Wu Clan Patriarch, and his name is Longmin." A disciple that was next to him responded.
One disciple close by suddenly had thought then said in a hushed tone.
"Hey, wasn't there rumors going around that he was lock up underneath the Wu Clan's mountains by his father?"
"I remember that rumor!" Another disciple loudly exclaimed, causing the surrounding disciples to send him angry looks.
However, that disciple was unaffected as he continued.
"It was circulating around the continent about six years ago. They say that it was because he went mad and killed a bunch of the Wu Clan servants."
"What?! Really?!" A disciple who was unaware of the rumor exclaimed in utter shock.
"Yeah, I remember this rumor as well. At the time it got out everyone was talking about it, how could've you not known?" A disciple asked in a confused tone.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a voice that contained a condemning and mocking tone spoke out slightly louder than the hundreds of other disciples.
"What sickening thing to do, despite his scholarly looks he's actually a wild beast in human form. I can't believe the Patriarch of the Wu Clan kept a son like that, if I were him I would've disowned him as my son and kicked him out of the clan. Truly disgusting."
The crowd became somewhat silent, and the disciples all had shocked looks on their faces.
To think that someone would openly speak those words, was this person trying to pick a fight with the Wu Clan?
Is he crazy?!
Hearing those words, Longwei's heart sank.
Turning to look at Longmin, he saw that he had his head lowered while biting his lips. From the looks of it, he had also heard what that person had said.
Longwei's face immediately turned ice cold and anger began to boil in his heart.
He wasn't angry when these people were being ungrateful towards the Wu Clan, he just couldn't stand listening to them so he made them shout up, but now, after hearing what someone had just about his brother, he was absolutely furious.
"Who just said that?" asked Longwei.
His voice wasn't loud but the remaining chattering of the disciples came to a stop nonetheless.
While looking around at the disciples in front of him waiting for a response, Longmin from behind held his hand and said with a forced smile.
"Brother there's no need, just ignore it."
Turning to look at his brother, Longwei was silent for a moment, before he shook his head and said, "You might be willing to, but I can't."
Turning back to the crowd of young elites who were grouped up in six.
He pointed at a group that wore blue Daoist robes, and had a crescent moon insignia on their right chest and said, "I heard the voice coming from this group. You're from the Crescent Moon Sect, right? If one of you don't step out now all of you are forbidden from entering the Yellow Leaf Valley's Pocket Realm."
"….?!!!"
The crowd of disciples was stunned.
"It was actually someone from the Crescent Moon Sect?! They're the strongest Sage Sect on the Wu Continent." A disciple said with astonishment.
A disciple followed up by saying, "I heard that their Patriarch is at the peak of the Sage realm and could breakthrough to that legendary realm at any time. If that happens they would become a major power, and the Wu Continent would have two leading figures."
"Does that mean the Crescent Moon Sect is purposely going against the Wu Clan to consolidate their power?" asked a disciple.
Someone then responded saying, "That's highly likely, but they haven't shown any indication of going against the Wu Clan in the past, so why do it know of all times."
"Yeah that's right, their Patriarch hasn't actually broken into the legendary Saint realm yet, so the current Wu Clan can probably crush them like an ant."
One disciple snorted coldly and said, "They're being way too arrogant, do they think just having someone in the Saint realm can make them contend against a hegemon like the Wu Clan? Do they not know where the Wu Clan stands out of all the Powers on planet Daiyu? Other than the Xingyun Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty no one can compete against the Wu Clan."
Another disciple chimed and said, "Exactly, why do you think they were able to maintain control over the continent despite it containing three Lesser Pocket Realms? A Pocket Realm is of massive importance to a clan or sect, with all of the natural resources within it a small size sect could produce a Sage level expert. The only other continent that has a Pocket Realm is the Central Continent, and they had a Greater Pocket Realm, which is probably bigger than our three Pocket Realms combined."
"Maybe that's the goal of the Crescent Moon Sect, to seize one of the Pocket Realms and expand their sect." A disciple said thoughtfully.
"But didn't young master Longwei just forbid them from entering the Pocket Realm if someone doesn't stand out? Did he perhaps knew their intentions?"
As the crowd bustle with noise, the two guards in black stood motionless behind Longwei and Longmin just watching the events unfold with an indifferent gaze.
Longwei was pointing at the group from the Crescent Moon Sect while staring at them with cold eyes. His behavior and demeanor at this moment resembled anything but a fourteen-year-old.
At the back of the group, a bald old man with a gray mustache and a goatee stepped out.
His name was Li Zong and he was a highly respected elder in the Crescent Moon Sect who was at the early stage of the Nirvana realm. Normally, with his cultivation and status, he wouldn't even deign to glance at a Foundation Building cultivator let alone converse with one, but this Foundation realm cultivator in front of him was one of the young masters of the Wu Clan. In terms of age and cultivation, he might be higher but his status was far inferior.
However, despite that, he still stood in front of Longwei with a placid expression on his face.
"Young master Longwei I think your statement is going a little too far. I do admit the earlier comment by my sect's disciple was a bit harsh, but that doesn't justify you to revoke our rights to enter the Pocket Realm. It would be better if an Elder of the older generation with greater qualifications in your clan were here to speak on this matter, instead of yourself."
Without even offering a greeting, Elder Li said that directly, while giving Longwei a sideways glance in the process.
His words made it obvious to anyone that he was trying to downplay his disciple's comment while belittling Longwei by stating that he was too young and didn't have the qualifications to decide to revoke their rights.
Longwei looked up at Elder Li while Elder Li stared down at him. Without so much of a consideration, Longwei said,
"Which grave did this old fart crawled out from? Do you think of yourself as hot-stuff because you're an Elder from the Crescent Moon Sect? Step aside you old foggy."

"Which grave did this old fart crawled out from? Do you think of yourself as hot-stuff because you're an Elder from the Crescent Moon Sect? Step aside you old foggy." Longwei then ignored the sour look on Elder Li's face and turned to the six disciples behind him. "If someone other than this bag of bones doesn't step out now then the Crescent Moon is banded from ever stepping into any of the three Lesser Pocket Realms." Immediate gasps could be heard from the crowd of disciples. They were wondering how the Crescent Moon Sect was going to deal with this. Although it might seem that Longwei indeed had no qualifications to make such decisions, his father on the other hand can. Why would the Crescent Moon Sect antagonize the sons of the Wu Clan's patriarch? If this matter blows out of proportions from a simple argument between the younger generation to Elders getting involved, aren't they just shooting themselves in the foot? Elder
Stumbling back with an ashen face, Elder Li could feel his veins and meridians rupture from the backlash of Spiritual Qi. A mouth full of blood was even threatening to come up through his throat but he managed to force it back down. Looking over at the two late-stage Core formation bodyguards, he was silent for a moment before he straightened himself then cupped his fist and said, "Two young masters of the Wu Clan, I hope you can forgive me for acting in such a manner. I was out of line and wish that you would look at this from my point of view at my discontentment. To make up for my actions, as an Elder of the Crescent Moon Sect I hereby revoke our rights to enter the Pocket Realm in the future. I hope that this can appease any animosity you may have against us. However, I wish that you would allow us to enter this Pocket Realm before our rights are revoked." As Elder Li's words sounded out, everyone in the surroundings was taken aback. One minute th
"What terrifying speed!! Even I almost lost track of him when he made his move. Is he really only at the Foundation Building stage?!" said a mid-stage Core Formation disciple in astonishment. Another disciple comment again. "Not only that, he actually manage to stopped an attack from an early Core Formation realm cultivator with just a finger. What a monster, it looks like young master Longwei with his Legendary Physique, isn't the only monster level genius the Wu Clan has." As Longmin stood there with his finger against Xiang Shi's sword, the red rune on the tip of his finger released a string of energy into it. With astounding speed, it shot towards the hidden aura that was headed for Xiang Shi's dantian. The hidden aura began to struggle while it was being wrapped up by Longmin's string of energy, but, its struggle was futile as the string of energy effortlessly overpower it and began to pull it towards Longmin's finger. After the a
Upon entering the Pocket Realm, Longmin immediately felt a change in the atmosphere.First of all, Spiritual Qi that was abundant everywhere in the outside world, was nonexistent here. What replaced it was this strange energy that was somewhat similar to it.Longmin had read a lot of books in the Wu Clan, but none of them ever mention what this energy was. As a matter of fact, there weren't any books in the Wu Clan that actually explain what the Pocket Realm was and how it came to be.There were only a few speculations scattered here and there that all said the same thing, that it was a different dimension created by high-level experts in the past, to pass on their legacy and wealth. That would have explained the ruins and treasures within the different Pocket Realms.Though this was the truth that the majority of people accepted, the fact that they were around for thousands of years with no one getting any legacy of the sort, remains in question.
A dust storm was kicked up in the area, but the other black robe figure was standing in front of Longmin and Longwei protecting them. After everything settled down Longmin and Longwei looked at the demonic beast with slight awe.The bird was so huge it was almost ridiculous. Just one of its eyes alone was enough to take up a person's entire vision much less its massive head and body.Standing upright, it easily reached around five hundred meters in height."It's actually a Sparrow that has the bloodline of the Divine Sparrow race," said Longmin.Even though he was in the Wu Clan all the time, he didn't actually pay attention to the other divisions, his main focus was on runes and formations. But that didn't mean he was clueless about the other divisions.Like alchemy, he read a lot of books about beast taming and he knew that taming a demonic beast with a bloodline was very rare.Demonic beasts with bloodlines were only located on the
After the Pocket Realm's entrance became obscured, Longmin and Longwei stopped their discussions about the scene they just witness. Looking over at their bodyguards Longmin asked, "How were you guys able to overpower that Elder's Divine Sense with your Spiritual Senses?" At that time when they made their move, Longmin had sensed that their Spiritual Senses had fused together and then carried out that attack. He had an idea of how they were able to use their combined Spiritual Senses to overpower the Divine Sense of a Nirvana expert, but he wanted to hear it from them. While Longmin was curiously asking his question, Longwei was sitting nonchalantly next to him, seeming to not have an ounce of care for such things as much as his brother did. Hearing their young master's question, the two cupped their fist before one spoke up. "Young master Longmin, the reason we were able to overpower that Elder's Divine Sense despite us still b
What the guards thought was right actually.Longmin might have acknowledged his status as a young master of the Wu Clan, but he didn't feel like he was on the inside.Ever since that incident happened six years ago, his father became distant towards him. No, even before that his father had favored Longwei more than him. It's just that the incident had been a catalyst for his more distant behavior.During those few months when he was in that dark cell, he didn't know how or what to feel like. He had no idea of what had occurred, one minute he was playing alongside Longwei, and the next he was next to a pile of corpses, with his entire body drenched in blood. He had asked his granduncle for what had happened to him since his father wouldn't even look at him, but Xenchi, his granduncle, just said when he grew older he would tell him and that there was a seal within his soul that would prevent him from 'losing control'.He went to Longwei and as
