Zeck was furious after reading the case file just handed to him by the lead investigator. He threw the file right in front of Gerald with a very sharp look. "All of this because you tried to get close to my grandmother! I shouldn't have to pay half of this loss."

"Enough! You need to act like an adult, Zeck!" Martha said.

Martha whispered to her bodyguard to help Zeck handle the compensation costs. From the small smile Martha showed, it could be understood that the wealthy woman hoped Gerald would struggle to pay such a fine. She turned to the lead investigator as if informing him that her business was done. A few moments later, Martha stood up to leave. "We request, sir, to resolve this matter without leaving a stain on our family," Martha said, glancing at Gerald.

"We will resolve it as soon as possible. You don't need to worry about this matter," the lead investigator responded politely.
