*Jake POV*

Tanya and I check in at the off the grid ARF quarters, while an undercover agent boards the plane as my imposter. Tom and Len tried their best to convince me to go with their plan, but that was a risk I was not willing to take. A fake me heads to the summit and fake Tanya remains at home is what we settled to.

“This place is not too bad,” she says before taking off her shoes and lying on the couch.

I get her point. The place looks nothing like what I imagined. It’s more like a very secured five star apartment with everything one can need.

I sit at her feet and massage them. I can tell that she is exhausted. It does not help that being married to me has brought her so many enemies, but she never complains.
