The ploy
*Jake POV*

Tanya is nine months pregnant, and I can’t wait to meet my baby.

“Jake!” she cries when I wake up and run my hand over her massive tummy.

“What?” I ask, amused.

“You love this baby more than me. You have not even greeted me good morning,” my hot ball of cuteness sulks and I can’t help but laugh before covering her lips with mine and passionately kissing her.

“Good morning VP lady.”

She giggles.

“I can never love anything or anyone more than you, Gorgeous,” I reassure her, and she melts. Her crazy sister has been teasing her about how the baby is now the family’s favourite and not aware how fragile pregnant women can be. It does not help that she has lost all her beauty pageant body because of the pregnancy.

“What are we going to do with Letitia, and George and his friends?” she asks. She is no longer naïve about all of this and I am glad.

“My godfathers are working on it.”

She raises her eyebrows while I laugh. “Believe me, you don’t want to know,” I tell her. Len and To
