His love? Sophia thought in shock.

Even while they were still together, he never called him her love. It was also obvious in his face that he was in love.

This could not possibly be true!

Meanwhile, Debby wondered why Alec was acting strange. The kind of relationship they shared did not permit him to call her by that name.

“Mr Alec, are you perhaps referring to the wrong person?” She asked, even though she wished that it would be her.

“Is there a problem?”

“Can we meet later in the day? I will like to let you know somethings” Debby said, ignoring what Alec was talking about.

“Are you still at the hospital? I should check up on you there. Just do well to receive your treatment!” He said and hung up.

Sophia's face fell as she heard that.

“You were saying something earlier?” Alec asked again.

“I didn't say anything. But can you give us a chance? I promise you that I will treat you better this time around” Sophia said in desperation.
