Chapter 5

"Send these to the address I told you."

The sales girl in front of Mason nodded her head. "Yes, sir. Anything else you need, sir?"

Mason nodded slowly, looking at the few clothes in front of him. But right at that moment, the shop door opened violently.

"There he is!" Bella pointed at Mason, making Mason turn his head.

Selena and Yohan looked surprised to see Mason inside the luxurious clothing store.

"Wow, this loser is now shopping for very expensive clothes."

Selena noticed the surroundings. The man was in an expensive store and even seemed to be choosing clothes. So pretentious.

She didn't like the man shopping for branded items that should have been his. Even she had to think first before buying clothes in this shop.

"You have no money." Yohan frowned, looking at Mason sarcastically. "Vabylan's shop cannot be visited by random people."

"Yes, it's obvious that the money he spent was money from my father's inheritance," Selena emphasised her words.

Selena thought twenty percent of the shares must be large so this poor man could act rich. She didn't want to be wronged either, so she tried to take what was rightfully hers.

"No." Mason's answer was firm.

Selena rolled her eyes. "I know you get 20% of my family's company."

"Now give that money back because you have no right to use it."

"No, right?" Mason smiled slightly. "The one who takes care of your father is me."

None of the Wilmer family wanted to bother themselves with taking care of Rowan. They preferred to occupy themselves with other activities that had nothing to do with Rowan.

"Oh, so now you're demanding payback?" The corners of Selena's lips lifted, snorting in annoyance.

"Let's just say that."

"I told you it's not yours, and you must have sold the shares, right? So now I'm asking you to give me the money."

Mason remained calm, walking slowly to look at the other clothes, which annoyed Selena even more. Of course, Yohan also got fed up with Mason's attitude. 

"Hey, loser. Don't you know shame?" Yohan raised his hand, blocking Mason's steps. "You've been living happily in the Wilmer family, and now you want to take their property? How ironic."

"If I were you, I would immediately return the money that is not for me." Bella heated up the situation. 

"If you still insist on not giving it to me, I'll report you to the police."

Selena would do everything she could to get the man to give her back the money that was rightfully hers.

"Give it back quickly, thief!" Yohan pushed Mason's shoulder with the tip of his index finger. 

Mason looked at the man coldly while rubbing his shoulder, which made Yohan furious.

"Wow, how insolent. Besides not knowing yourself, you're also very lowly." Yohan grinned, folding his arms in front of his chest. "Shame on you."

"I didn't sell those shares." Mason took the insult in stride.

"Braggart. There's no way you haven't sold it. You can shop like this. It's impossible to use your own money." Selena chuckled, looking at Mason with a condescending gaze. 

During her time with Mason, he never bought her expensive things because he always had no money. So, it was highly improbable that Mason would use his money to shop.

"That stock is still there, and I will not give it to you for the rest of my life." Mason gave her a cold stare and took a step toward her. 

However, Selena rushed to prevent him. "Hey, I'm not in the mood for jokes. So, quickly give me the money."

"That's so bad. Do you want to take away other people's rights? How funny." Yohan shook his head while chuckling in annoyance. 

"Taking someone else's rights?" Mason gave a small smile. "I didn't use your father's money to buy clothes that cost little."

Hearing Mason's words, Bella became annoyed. "How arrogant. Even though you were very poor all this time and didn't work, how could you buy expensive things? You can't even give shopping money to Selena."

As far as she could see, Bella agreed because Mason was a pathetic man. Even Selena often complained, saying Mason embarrassed her and made it difficult. It was like she was married to a hobo, and she couldn't enjoy proper luxuries. She kept him only to care for her father and then threw him away.

"Something invisible doesn't mean it doesn't exist." Mason refuted Bella's words calmly. "Because the truth is, I'm the one helping Wilmer's family."

Of course, that made them all burst out laughing.

"Too much imagination." Yohan chuckled while girdling his loins. "All this time, you've just been hitchhiking with Wilmer's family." 

"You suck." Bella made a sardonic face, looking even more disgusted at Mason's answer.

Mason ignored them, staring at the sales girl beside him. "I want to buy everything."

Hearing that, their laughter intensified. As if it was the most impossible thing they had ever heard.

"He pretends to be rich." Selena shook her head at Mason's attitude. "You think that's enough to buy all this?"

However, Mason ignored them. He took the card in his wallet and entered the password into the swiper.

"You have successfully paid for everything, sir." The sales girl's voice instantly stopped their laughter.

The three men were now silent. They looked at each other, thinking it couldn't be the transaction Mason had just made. 

"Yes, send it to the place I told you before."

"Yes, sir." The sales girl nodded and excused herself from their presence, calling her friends.

Some of the store clerks seemed to be busy tidying up all the clothes in the store after hearing what the sales girl said, which suddenly dumbfounded the three of them.

"Here's the receipt, sir." The sales girl stretched out her hand and gave the receipt to Mason.

The incredulous Yohan immediately took the receipt from the sales girl's hand. "No way. This must be a trick."

Yohan's eyes widened in shock when he saw the amount of money on the receipt, which opened his mouth. 

"You're crazy. You spent 50 million dollars on shopping?

"What?" Selena and Bella were shocked as they grabbed the receipt from Yohan's hand and looked at it simultaneously. 

"No way." Selena's lips trembled.

Mason looked at them coldly. "That's a small amount of money."

The three were shocked, immediately looking at Mason in disbelief. "You really are crazy. What are you playing at, exactly?"

Mason did not answer that question. He ignored them and walked out first, but Yohan, unhappy with what the man was doing, immediately caught his hand. 

"Stop, you bastard!" Yohan was fed up with the man's attitude.

But the unexpected happened. Mason immediately pulled Yohan's arm and dropped the man's body to the floor, which immediately made Bella and Selena scream in shock.

"Yohan!" Selena ran over, rushing to her knees, holding Yohan's arm without pain. "Damn it, what are you doing to my girlfriend, huh?"

Selena panicked and worried about Yohan's state, who was still wincing. "Oh, dear. Are you okay?"

Yohan arched his waist, which was in great pain. His hands felt stiff and tense like every bone had been cracked simultaneously.

"Ah, it hurts." Yohan bit his lip, enduring the pain.

"You really are a damn man!" Selena stared intently at Mason.

She didn't expect her ex-husband to be this rude, making her afraid to get close.

Mason didn't care. He quickly walked away, leaving the three people behind. Selena and Bella looked frantically at Yohan, who was grimacing and in increasing pain.

"Help me." Yohan waved his hand, and Selena and Bella immediately helped him get up.

"Damn it. I will never let him go. I will punish him more than this." he gritted his teeth.
