Yohan walked into the house with Selena's help. He was in excruciating pain all over his body.

"Ah, slowly." Yohan arched his back slightly as his arm was nudged by Selena.

Seeing this, Selena's family was worried and immediately approached them in a panic. "What happened?

"Why is Yohan like this?" Eva's eyes travelled over Yohan's face and body, which didn't seem right.

They gathered in the living room, seemingly showing concern for Yohan. Just seeing Yohan struggling to sit up made them worried.

"It's all because of that damn man. Bastard!" Yohan grumbled with a pause that made everyone there look at each other.

"That guy? Who?" Eva and the others did not understand what Yohan was talking about.

They were curious about what happened to Yohan. Especially to find out how the shares that fell into Mason's hands would go.

"This is all because of Mason." Selena squeezed the cold compress in her hand.

"Mason?" Eva frowned, sitting next to Selena with a curious look on her face. "What has he done?"

Selena's chest felt hot. She took a slow breath, then told her what had happened.

"He bought everything in the Vabylan store. He spent that much while we never spent that much." Selena said it quickly and angrily.

Of course, it made them all surprised and angry.

"Insolent. That man is so shameless." Eva's face was full of anger. "We have to get back at him."

"Yes, of course. I can't accept him spending our money." Emily growled, squeezing her hand tightly. "He must be having a good time right now."

But Emily's gaze shifted to a maid who accidentally locked eyes with them. "Why? Do you want to mock us?

"No, Miss." The maid shook her head and looked down.

"Get out of here. Otherwise, I'll fire you." Selena glared and waved her hand, ordering the servant to leave.

The servant nodded and hurried away from them all. Now that their minds were on one person, Mason, they thought that the man's money was so much that he could buy many expensive clothes in the luxury store.

"So, what should we do now?" Eva exhaled slowly, seemingly losing her spirits.

"Take it easy. There's someone I know in the police." Yohan smiled a little, planning something.

"I'll ask him to arrest Mason for money laundering and violence."

This was easy. He was very confident that he could put Mason in jail, especially since he had worked with his acquaintance in the police department several times and managed to get rid of people he had problems with.

"That way, you can claim the money stolen by Mason." Yohan looked at them with a sly smile.

"Good idea." Eva nodded her head, looking pleased. "You are very reliable, Yohan."

They did not have to bother doing anything to Mason because involving the police would make everything easier and faster, so they could take back the shares.

"So, when can we meet with that guy?"

"I'll contact him later." Yohan nodded slowly. "But before that, help me treat this, Selena." He pointed at his aching waist.

"Oh, yes, of course, come here." Selena showed her sweet side in front of Yohan.

The woman returned to compressing Yohan's waist carefully, looking very attentive to the man. Selena even smeared Yohan's face, which was bruised from hitting the floor.

Eva wouldn't let her former son-in-law have fun with her husband's money. The money had to come back into their hands, one way or another.

On the other hand, Mason, who had just arrived home, received a phone call from the servant he had placed in the Wilmer household.

"Hello, Master. I have something to tell you." The voice of the maid sent to care for Rowan was very low and half-whispered.

Mason's brow furrowed slightly, remembering Rowan. "Tell me, what is it?"

"Master, I overheard earlier that they were planning something for you." The servant was silent for a moment, taking in the surroundings. "They want you to go to jail."

"Oh, alright." Mason did not feel afraid of that at all. He responded calmly. "Then, how is Rowan doing?"

Mason was still thinking about his former father-in-law. Even though they were no longer close, Mason always looked forward to hearing about Rowan from his servant.

"Sir Rowan's condition... is getting worse because they seem to deliberately want to kill the man slowly."

"What?" Mason's eyes trembled. That family was truly barbaric.

"Yes, Master. The medicine has been exchanged." The servant exhaled softly, concerned for the old man in his care.

"Don't give that medicine again." Mason's voice was firm, showing his concern for Rowan. "Just give me the medicine, and I will send it there immediately."

"Yes, Master." The servant nodded in understanding.

The phone connection ended. Mason fell silent with a cold stare. He did not expect the Wilmer family to be completely devoid of humanity.

Mason had asked Rudolf to send Rowan medicine and hoped her condition would improve.

After a few days, Mason again received news that Rowan's condition was slightly better than before after he had taken his medicine.

"Good. Let me know the progress and ensure they don't give her more fake medicine." Mason hung up the phone. Now he could relax a bit.

He had just parked his car in the parking lot of Cafe Aragania, in the luxurious area of Holyon Street. He exited the car, took off his sunglasses and entered the cafe.

"Please." The cafe cashier handed Mason a paper menu.

Mason looked at the menu for a long time, which caused the cafe cashier to frown in confusion, as Mason did not order.

"Sir, what would you like to drink?" The man behind the counter looked annoyed. "You shouldn't stay here too long. It may disturb the comfort of other customers who also want to order. So, hurry up."

Mason looked at him coldly. "Your attitude is terrible. I haven't even been here five minutes, and no one is waiting."

He stared deeper, instantly making the waitress gulp down her saliva, feeling Mason's terrifying gaze.

"So let me should have chosen quietly."

The cashier chuckled, looking at Mason, who seemed focused on reading the menu. "You're not used to being in a fancy cafe like this, huh?" He raised one eyebrow upwards. "So, no idea about the menus."

Mason closed the menu book in his hand for a moment. "Yeah, I'm not used to it."

He did not have the leisure time to drink coffee at cafes. Back then, he was only busy caring for the Gilbert family business. Moreover, this cafe was synonymous with young people, which did not match his character.

Hearing Mason's answer irritated the cashier. She thought the man in front of her was a very sick person who only had money to go to the cafe, which was very annoying for him.

He was tired of working and now had to deal with a lowlife. That was very annoying.

"Never mind, don't waste my time. Go away." The cashier lifted her chin, looking toward the door. "Get out of here."

Mason closed the menu book and gave her a colder look. "Ah, get me a drink for insomnia."

That instantly changed the cashier's expression. "What?"

So how could this stranger possibly know her?It was strange. All this time, she had successfully concealed her identity. No one around her had ever discovered who she really was or even suspected anything.Mason smiled again, but his eyes remained ice-cold. “There’s no use hiding your identity.
