Chapter 4: Who The Fu*ck That Strange Man?

Aarav was stunned for a few seconds.

Gradually, the atmosphere of tension in this room faded. Nobody said anything. Prisoner Man 2233 took a step back in the same shock. While the other three prisoners just stood there without saying anything.

"How come..." Prisoner Man 2233 trailed off. He looked at Aarav and the Chief Warden who were talking.

"Who exonerated me?" Aarav immediately interrupts Prisoner Man 2233's words.

The warden who spoke lowered his hands slowly. The look on his face showed hesitance to explain to Aarav.

"I can't explain to you," replied the warden. Through his sharp eyes, the warden continued, "But, he has brought evidence that you did not carry out the illegal business accusation."

Hearing the warden's explanation, Aarav still couldn't believe it. How can someone set him free? So far, Aarav only knows people who always underestimate him. He had no connections with other important people.

Moreover, Ella's family.

Aarav finds it impossible for Ella's family to exonerate him about the illegal business. So, who else could possibly free him?

"Why can't I know who the person who freed me is?" asked Aarav, his tone rising slightly.

The warden in front of Aarav keeps shaking his head. Even though he hesitated, the warden's sharp eyes made him look firm and didn't want to say anything.

"You're acquitted. My only job is to convey that to you." In one stroke of firmness, the warden seemed to be giving Aarav a warning not to talk further.

Aarav frowned deeper. "Wait, I was released just like that?"

"Hey you idiot! Didn't you hear what the warden said?" Male Prisoner 2233 finally spoke after being lost in daydreams.

Aarav's attention shifted to Male Inmate 2233 in front of him. The convict man showed annoyance.

"You want to stay in here?" said Male Convict 2233 once again. "Okay, then you'll stay in here with us."

Before the argument between Male Convict 2233 and Aarav broke out again, the Chief Warden in their midst immediately pushed Aarav away. He carried Aarav's body, forced him to move to get out of this prison cell.

"Master, please tell me, who is the person who has helped me?" Aarav urged the Warden beside him.

But the Chief Warden beside Aarav doesn't want to make a sound. While taking Aarav out of the jail cell, the Chief Warden signaled the other three wardens to follow him outside.

Aarav doesn't know why the warden doesn't want to tell. His mind was completely disturbed now, wondering which of the people he knew helped him get out of prison.

Are the people from his company?

Unfortunately, Aarav too finds it impossible. If the factory where he works doesn't provide clarification that he is not involved in an illegal business, then the people in the factory are clearly not helping him.

"I was asked not to tell you about it," the Chief Warden replied. "After leaving this place, don't question anything. You're free, that should be enough."

No. Aarav still wants to know who freed him.

Somehow, there was something that stuck in Aarav's feelings. It's too impossible if Aarav can be exonerated in just a short time.

"Oh, I'm breaking the news from someone who released you."

Aarav's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when the Warden suddenly tapped him on the shoulder and stopped walking. The Chief Warden took something out of his uniform pocket.

A paper.

The Warden gives Aarav a paper in a box. However, the expression on his face that was originally firm slowly turned into one of pity.

"It seems that from this place, you can go to the place written in this letter," continued the Chief Warden explaining.

Aarav feels his feelings getting bad.

It took a few seconds for Aarav to finally receive the boxed letter the Chief Warden had given him. Aarav was still looking at the Warden curiously when his hand unfolded the paper.

As the folded paper unfolded, Aarav saw someone's handwriting. It was quite a mess, but Aarav could still read it dimly.

Dear Mr. Aarav.

I know you have been wondering and feeling suspicious after getting this letter. However, you need to know, I didn't write lies in the letter to frame you or harm you. I just want to say that you should come to the Karlolinskad Hospital. There is news that the doctor will give about your mother's condition.

'My mother's condition? This person knows Karlolinskad Hospital, where my mother is being treated,' Aarav thought uneasily.

After reading this letter in his hand, in just a second, Aarav's mind immediately diverged. Who wrote this letter? Was it the person who wrote this letter who released it?

If so, how did that person know about his mother's condition?

Aarav spontaneously squeezed the letter he was holding. His heart was pounding fast as a feeling of discomfort attacked his feelings.

Without thinking much, Aarav immediately ran from the Head Warden. He didn't care about the other wardens who were passing by or on guard. Aarav only wants to go to the Hospital to meet his mother.

Also, meet who someone who acquitted himself of false accusations.
