Chapter 22

The second day after, Loris successfully felt the effects of the herbs she had ingested. She became calmer as she walked to the shooting range.

"You're calmer now. Did you think of something?" asked The Eye.

The Eye's tone sounded jail, but Loris chose to ignore it. That's because Loris was thinking about how their conversation yesterday stopped. The conversation stopped because of his father, who came suddenly.

He got a mandate from his father to help him summarize the documents from his father's last meeting.

As a result, Loris was already tired when he finished at night. He decided to sleep until the next morning and did not have contact with The Eye all night.

"Hey!" called the Eye once again.

"If you're so noisy, why didn't you answer my question yesterday," Loris interrupted in a flat tone.

He finally arrived at the shooting practice room. He opened the door and heard the Eye's babbling.

"Loris, just now, I was praising your calmness, but you're being impatient again. Just wait.
