107 - Not one for crowd

Just before Fay, Rean, and Terrence entered the courtyard, they were arguing.

“No, no, no. That is not an acceptable apology. They can’t just send you to talk to me on behalf of them!” I told Fay.

“And I’m telling you, they sent me to talk to you on behalf of everyone. And this is the last time. You even refused Sir Cromwell, that was rude.” Fay reprimanded calmly.

“Excuse me. I don’t understand what is going on.” Rean’s face already showed that the redhead is bewildered by the ordeal.

I turned to him. “Harcourt insulted me and she sent Fay to apologize in her place!”

Rean immediately frowned. “Is that true, Ms. Fay?”

Fay rolled her eyes. “Not the way I would put it. The problem is much more complicated than that.”

I beg to differ. “It is not.”

Fay turned to me with an eyebrow raised. “Really? You’re going to make a scene on this again?”

I frown at her. “Oh Harcourt is the one who needs to grow up, Fay.”
