Chapter 3

Let us go back home", Louis said after seeing the sky gradually darkening and the weather getting cold and that they left without informing anyone.

They started the journey back home. They were trotting as the night was getting darker.

"Where are they?"

Baron Jones was home already and when they were supposed to have dinner, his son and daughter were nowhere to be found. He infuriatingly called the castle guards about their whereabouts.

"Sir, I don't know where they are...", before he could finished talking Jones whose anger has exponentially increased hit the table with his Zeroeth level middle stage of cultivation. The table broke into pieces.

"What is your duty? You cannot even take care of two children? I am giving you ten minutes to get them here or else..."

Jones gave an ultimatum and left the room angrily. Just when he was about to look for them himself...

"The young master and young mistress is back."

Jones eyes which was has fierce and fiery as brimstones cooled down instantly.

"Let's go to eat".

Already tired from the journey all around the market, he followed his father alongside with his step sister to the dining room. The dinner was as sumptuous as the breakfast as rice with vegetables alongside with tiger's meat and an egg. The meal was accompanied by bottles of wine. The food was finished in no time and the maids came to pack the dishes. The females left the dining room and drinking of wine began at earnest. Louis who was drinking for the first time already felt stuffed after a bottle but his brothers won't let him go...

"Pay attention to your body", Jones said as he stood up ready to go to sleep. He wished he could take Louis away but his hands were tied as Louis did not want to admit defeat in what had turned to a drinking contest. He left, shaking his head.

As soon as he left, the step brothers with no one to control them changed the wine to another one of higher alcohol concentration and also increased the amount of wine drank. Louis tried for another five minutes before he fainted as could not hold it any longer. As soon as his head fell on the table, the other brothers took out a pill that can remove the influence of alcohol. The effects of alcohol was shaken off and they pushed Louis into a room and banged the door shut.

"Where am I? What am I doing here? I remembered I just drank too much wine . What happened? Why am I in Clara's room?"

"Which kind of world is this? Why is this guy so stupid? Is this reincarnation or the crossing I read about in books?"

Two different types of questions asked by the same person. Louis was already dead as a result of the heavy drinking and the harm already caused in his body by unbalanced diet and the excessive stress but he is still alive as the soul of Louis Einstein, a name sake already occupied this body.

Louis who had already completely merged and gone through the memory already guessed the situation eighty percent. This was a big conspiracy that he cannot escape. If he escaped the offense of attempted rape which came over him, he would not be able to escape from the crime if theft.

He wore his scattered clothes and went to his room. Before he could do anything,there was a knock in the door.

"Your presence is required in the courthouse", a servant said before he could even open the door. The disregard and disrespect was back again... He wore his clothes and went to the courthouse.

"I pray I come back alive", Louis said as he opened the giant all metal door guarded with fully armed armoured men.

"You ungrateful boy, all because I decided to change my behaviors towards you, you decided to do this to my daughter"

"Nothing happened. Believe me", I tried to defend myself but before I finished talking...

"Daddy, you have to help me get justice. Louis tried to rape me but thank God for my elder brother who saved me from him last night", Clara said amidst tears. I could see her inconspicuous laughter mocking me of my foolishness.

"Father I am a witness. I heard the struggling in my dear sister's room. I was shocked to see my sister almost naked in front of this thing struggling to kick him off. I was so angry that he was lucky not to be dead", Thole added with a menacing face.

I didn't want to die so easily after given a chance by God. But I knew the more I tried to justify myself the more entangled this situation will be so I decided to shut up after a faint signal from my father. I knew it was time for me to leave as father was already aging and they are already putting their people in power.

" I knew something was up with the surprise Milox did for Louis the previous day. I tried all my best to signal to Louis but the love shown I guessed overwhelmed him as neither of us had shown him love in years. I love both Louis and his mother but when I finally retired, my dear Cabara died."

"Before I got to my fief, I already understood that I will be under Earl Samton, Milox's father and the only way to live without trouble is to marry one of her daughters as that was the rule. Almost every Baron there got married to his daughter. After a few months of marriage, I understood their plan but it was too late to stop him. My dearest son, Louis almost died two times by poisoning but I use my treasures to exchange for a pill. From then I knew I could not openly show love to my son so I closed a eye towards them."

" Now I have to judge as Milox is not going to let her plan futile."

"Won't you talk? Since I have been talking you kept mute. Don't I deserve a response?", Milox broke in and stopped the thoughts of her husband.

"I knew it would come to this. If I order them to kill, they will be more than happy to do so. If I told them to flog him, it cannot be less than fifty and fifty is enough to make him almost dead if not dead. The only feasible means is to banish him but if I do so this whole region is under the Earl, his fate depends on heaven...", he finalizes his thoughts.

"This is my judgement, Louis is to be banished from this Earldom of Earl Samton and his name removed from the family tree", Jones said and stood up immediately so as not to give room for comolaints. He looked back and saw a faint smile which faded away and he knew he had managed to satisfy her and save his son's life.

"It was already the talk of the town, that Young Master Louis is such a person", a maid said chatting with a fellow maid who signaled to him that Louis was coming behind her...

"What a nice plan! Two pronged approach: Chase me out; Destroy my reputation".
