POOSH one of the limbs of the tortoise hit his buttocks as he was thrown into air, moving towards the island.
"I hope this little boy land on the right place", this was the tortoise's thought as he sank to hide from her enemy. Louis who tightened his grip on the claw he removed from the tortoise's wound was thrown out unprepared. The distance was not so far so Louis got to the island in seconds as he luckily landed on a marshy area of the island. "My cloth is dirty again", Louis grumbled as he dragged his mud soaked body out of the marsh. He wanted to remove the clothes before he remembered that he had no other clothes to change into. "I don't know if there are wild beasts here whether ranked or unranked. I don't know if there is a shelter on this highland. I need light as it is getting really dark", all sort of thoughts passed through Louis's mind as he trudged on. "Anyway, I know I will survive this mess. My luck has been good thus far", he concluded in his mind. At this time, at Baron Jones's fief, the plan has been completed as they had successfully murdered Baron Jones. Milox's son has taken ovet, of course he was a puppet of his Uncle. Fred of course remained the butler as he willingly submitted to them. Fred without wasting time had already started cultivation in earnest and the secret plan with the 'Resources in the Door' Louis walked in till he found a secret cave at the middle of the island, it was already so dark and it would be dangerous to press further so Louis lay down and slept off at the mouth of the cave. Louis who had not slept in a proper bedroom for days was already tensed and just the sound of dropping of water from the roof of the cave woke him up. The sky was not yet clear but at least he could see so he stood up feeling uncomfortable as the mud which was previously sticky had already started drying. Louis ran to the sea, he saw his reflection and he laughed at himself before he removed all the clothes to wash them and also clean his body. Before Louis could finish the cleaning, the sky was already clear as the sun geared up to start the day's journey. Louis wore his wet clothes and started walking around the perimeter of the island to get a clue of his location, all to no avail. All he could see was the cave that was situated at the middle of the island, where he slept the previous night. Louis picked up a dry stick he saw as that was the only weapon available and decided to explore the cave, perhaps he could find a way to get out of this island. With great precaution, Louis started to walk into the cave as he made sure, he knocked the floor and the walls of the cave to guard against traps as he could notice that the cave was dug by someone. After passing through a pool of water which continued to accumulate in drops from the stalactites on the roof of the cave, the path Louis was treading was getting narrower and Louis slowed down and was more cautious. After walking for about thirty minutes, he saw a small black stone door ahead unlocked, there was no sign of locks or keyhole on the door. Louis moved closer and pushed the door curiously. "You are welcome to TRANSIT CAVE. If you are able to enter, that means you must have great luck and an abnormal soul strength", a voice sounded after Louis opened the door. Louis shivered as he could not see the person talking to him, he continued to look around for a shadow but there was none. "Is this Artificial intelligence or a Ghost?", Louis thought. "You don't have to be afraid. This cave was made of a Dark Iron Stone which is one of the strongest materials in this Continent", the voice continues. Louis who had already calmed down listened attentively as he inherited very little knowledge about this world. "This is a teleportation station between this Continent, ELIMA and the other Lower Continent, SIGMA and it was created by a lucky bastard who got the inheritance of a formation master", the voice resumed his speech as he unhurriedly spoke to Louis. "Who are you? Where are you? Why are you here?", Louis asked questions after questions without giving room for response. He was about to ask another question when the voice replied. "Little Child, why can't you be patient? To your questions, I am the consciousness of this artifact, this cave has been created for so long and it has used the aura in the CRYSTAL STONE left in the cave so that answers Who I am and Why am I here? As for the last question, I am this Rock, so you are inside me in a sense", the artifact spirit said as he make fun of Louis. It has been a long time since something visited this cave as evidenced by the thick dust on the door, this made the Artifact spirit to want to delay Louis as much as it could to get rid of loneliness. "From the map of this continent in my predecessor memory, this continent is several times bigger than Earth. The fools here actually believed that they were the only one in this world. Maybe the higher-ups will know better", Louis thought as he was trying to digest everything he was told. "I know you are so curious about this world but there are some things you have to knock yourself", it said as it dampened Louis was was about to ask questions. "The only information I will give you is that where you are going is not the same as this continent. Sigma is a mixture of technology and cultivation, and it is relatively less peaceful as monsters and abyss corrupted creatures have been deployed by the abyss". "I hope you will survive and become strong enough to unseal this planet", the Artifact spirit concluded as it started the formation which shined with golden light.. Louis within been told walked into the formation and SWISSH Louis disappeared.SWISSH Louis disappeared as the intensity of the Golden light suddenly increased. The Artifact spirit that materialized after Louis was teleported away shook his head in deep thoughts. "I hope this boy will grow up and become a real strong man in this world". "This little lad is very curious, let me add the history of this continued to his memory which he will able to recollect gradually", he though as he can into thin air, his face filled with laughter. A Golden lined hexagram appeared in the sky and the figure of a boy fell through it. JEEZ. "I was dropped into the sky by this old cunning guy", Louis thought as he was falling with a very fast velocity towards the ground. He looked around and all he saw was a thick forest, he could not see the soil as there were canopy of branches filled with leaves. "This old man must have done this intentionally". Louis was a none cultivator and a fall from such a height will result in instant death. He was now in the canopy of leave
Adolor led them on the return journey, he used his sword to cut all the vines and branches obstructing their path. He was on the look out for snakes and poisonous insects because it was getting dark and insects and reptiles are more active during the night. They trekked for a few minutes before they joined an untared road. Many trucks and modified small vehicles were carrying goods and passengers to the city. A black stylish car parked in front of Adolor's group, Adolor opened the door for Dofy who entered and signaled to Louis to enter. Adolor entered and the car zoomed off. "Who is this?", the driver of the car asked Adolor as he noticed an additional passenger through the mirror. "Just an unlucky boy". Adolor who answered very briefly closed his eyes which stopped the curiosity of the driver. All the other vehicles traveling on the road drove off their way and greeted them respectfully. The car which was moving at a very fast speed soon got to the gate of the town. "Thi
Louis was amazed as he walked through the tarred road outside the Earl Estate, cars were moving to and fro just like on Earth. "No wonder, the artifact spirit called it a modern world". Even though he really wanted knowledge about this world, he was really hungry as he was neglected by everyone in the Estate. Louis branched at a road side cafeteria and ate a little where he spent [~~] Divis. "I have to start earning money as survival can be hard without it", Louis thought as his pocket had started deflating. Satisfied, with a smile on his face Louis left the cafeteria and continued the journey to the City Library. Louis reached the library which was guarded by few security men. "Your ID card", a uniformed man stopped Louis by the gate and stretched his right hand. Louis placed the ID Card given by the Earl at the man's palm, the man looked at it for few seconds w before he swiped it in a detection machine fixed to the gate polls. The machine flashed green and the card was ret
The fifty thousand Divis is almost finished and one week will soon be over when the accommodation fee he paid at the inn will expire. "I have to get a way to earn money that will not endanger my life", Louis thought as he left the inn the sixth day. Louis walked around the inner city looking for a way to get a job, but unfortunately for him all the companies needed Education certificates or connection to offer jobs. Louis was tired but as he touched his pockets, the scanty cash pushed him to search further. It's been a long tiring day for Louis as even a drop of water had not touched his mouth, of course water was not free until the inner city. It was already dusk and he still had not gotten a job. Tomorrow was the day his accommodation fee will expire. Louis had slept yesterday hungrily, trying to conserve money. Hunger woke him up as his stomach and intestines were squeezing causing a very severe pain. Louis who could not manage any longer packed all the cheap set of clothes
Louis came out if the building as he sighed. "I am no longer broke. This money should be able to get me some essential materials needed for my laboratory", Louis thought. "The cost of living in the inner city is very high as all my current net worth cannot buy a building not to talk of machines, super computers and the materials needed for research". Louis who was lost in thought ran into a young man who was dressed in obviously very expensive clothes. The man Louis ran into was Brad Cain, from the Cain Clan. The Cain Clan was a top business family as their wealth could rival the Rosett Clan. The only way they were inferior was in strength, but even with that the Rosett Clan still respect them as the Cain Clan are backed by Duke Lane and an all out war will severely damage the two families. Brad was the son of Lart Cain and Rose Lane from the Lane family and he had been pampered since he was small, this grew up with him and he had become a public scum detested by the ci
Just take care of yourself and SURVIVE! This was the last thing he heard before he was kicked out of the car, he could imagine the grinning face of Mr. Fallon as he knew the man could not do that if he was not ordered. Louis who had been through a lot was emotionally drained even though his wound was healed went to an inconspicuous inn, which has almost turned into ruins to gain shelter through the night and to escape the tracking of his pursuers. He thought he was completely free from the pursuit of the Cain family, but he underrated the intelligence of a major family in the city as his location had already been unravelled to the thugs of the Cain family who controlled one of the top gangs in the outer city, Blood Hawk. Brad who came out of the Warrior Guild Building disappointed as he once again failed the examination. He was about to enter his car when he remembered the boy who offended him and had passed the exam, he became more infuriated and he sulked as he entered th
GBOOSH, he sank. Louis who fell unexpectedly could not control himself in the air, he landed on his head as he fell unconscious. When Louis woke up, it was half past two in the morning, he had slept almost for twelve hours. He found out that no poisonous insect or beast had attacked him since he went unconscious and even his pursuers did not get his location. "I knew this tree must be mysterious as it was different from all other trees in this part of the forest". Louis checked all he had brought with him; the spatial ring he was not yet able to open, the bracelet which was a gift from his mother, the ID Card given by the City Lord and the Guild Card from the Warrior's guild. All was complete in their respective positions. Louis stood and wanted to find a way of getting out the pit as his intuition cultivated from various years of being a scientist told him that he was in a very dangerous zone with Zero Percent of coming out alive but he turned to his right where there was a
Louis had gone so far away from the coffin while struggling with the invasion problem and the area had gotten darker as a result of the gloomy wind brought by the ghost. Louis picked on of the movable torches and walked back to the coffin. Louis walked slowly through the steps to the altar where the coffin was laid. He took one of the longest bones to at least get a sense of protection though he knew that the weapon in his hands will not be able to solve any problem that may arise. Fortunately, the only harm had been successfully avoided. Louis tapped the ground with his 'weapon' trying to observe for traps on the steps to the altar. "I hope all this is worth it at the end of everything". Louis hanged the torch by the wall and walked touched the coffin wearily, after touching for few seconds without any suspicious activity, he proceeded to check the contents of the coffin. The first thing he picked out was a very old brown piece of paper rolled into a scroll. Louis opened
