CHAPTER 52

With the truth being revealed to Mrs Hathaway, Mildred's mother couldn't hold back her emotions.

"I didn't know then that the family I wanted to work for were the Montreal's. I still remember that night, " She said, feeling sad.

Savador and Mildred sat at her side with their hands on her.

"After what happened that night, I didn't know how or where to start with you in my hold," Mrs Hathaway shared, flashing back to that night.

She stood far away, looking at the mansion coming down in flames. She had Savador in her arms, and he was crying.

With nothing to do, she took Savador back to her home to see her husband.

Her husband, who was taking care of baby Mildred then, questioned his wife about Savador.

She shared the tragedy to him, and he felt touched.

"What should we do now? " Mr Hathaway had asked.

Mrs Hathaway stared at Savador's innocent face. He had stopped crying and began playing with her happily.

With joy, she suggested to her husband. "Let's take care of him as our son. I
