CHAPTER 7

"What are you saying, Savador? We can't be over. I'm your wife and you are my husband. Our marriage can't be over," Emily said, refusing to accept Savador's rejection.

She felt her heart pounding just thinking of Savador leaving her alone and enjoying himself with his wealth. She didn't want to be left out.

"Maybe you should have thought about that when you proudly slapped me, called me a poor bastard, and slammed the paper before me, " Savador said, reminding Emily of her doing.

Emily sways her head, telling Savador that she was playing. "I was just joking then. Can't you take a joke, huh?" She asked, taking hold of Savador's hands.

When he felt her grip, Savador pulled Emily's hand off his. "Don't touch me with that hand of yours or you'll regret it, " Savador warned Emily. Glowering at her.

Emily sees the rage in his eyes. She feels her body shiver while staring right at him.

"What are you saying Savador? You can't treat your wife like this. Have you forgotten how much she loves you? " Mr Sanandrian questioned Savador.

Mrs Sanandrian nods her head, reminding Savador of Emily's words at the party, when they advised her to leave him. "She stood by your side all through. She promised to never leave you. So why are you trying to break her heart now? "

"Don't be mean bro. She's my sister and she loves you. We love you," Jeremy said, moving closer to Savador.

When they said all this, Savador bursts into laughter at once. Laughing at the Sanandrian's and their words. Leaving them wondering why he's chortling.

"How pathetic" Savador said, calming himself down. He narrowed his eyes at Emily and said to her parents, "Your fake words have no effect on me. I know the kind of people you are, all of you. A family of crooks and phonies. You didn't hesitate to switch sides when you learnt I'm Don Pablo's heir. So pathetic. "

"Savador, we agree that we didn't treat you well in the past. But that was then. We now know out mistakes and are asking for your forgiveness. We're family son. Don't push your wife away, " Mr Sanandrian said, smiling at Savador.

Hearing him, Savador flashed his eyes at Emily. She stared into Savador's gaze and called him her husband.

Hearing that word, Savador said, " Don't call me that ever again, Emily.'

Emily's eyes widened at this.

"My wife died the day she had sex with another man in my bed. Neither do I have a wife or I'm married," Savador pointed out. Stepping away from Emily and her family.

Seeing this, Emily begs Savador not to leave her alone. Promising to be the loving wife he knows. Her family joins her in begging.

But their attitude only annoys Savador. He gets mad and orders them to leave his mansion. "Get out of my home now. You are no longer welcome here, " Savador ordered.

"Savador, you can't be serious. It's me, your Emily. The woman you always wake up to every morning. Don't you remember me? " Emily steps forward to meet Savador.

"OUT! " Savador roared. Causing the Sanandrians to shiver in fear.

Listening to all of these, Carlos, who stood behind the Sanandrians, starts to laugh out loudly. Almost like a maniac.

His action attracts Savador's attention at once.

"Get out of my home he says. The beggar of yesterday is now showing his power today, " Carlos laughed, facing Savador.

He stared at him and saw a flash of his late grandfather right in Savador. Carlos recurs how Don Pablo would look at him in displeasure, whenever he decides to do things against his wish.

Anger engulfs him at once. Knowing that his grandfather chose to keep him in the dark about Savador.

"Mine! This mansion and all the wealth are mine! " Carlos roared, getting mad.

"I've been with my grandfather for years, helping him with his business and empire, while you remained with the dead until heaven knows how you resurrected!" Carlos sparked.

Savador stared at him while Carlos continued to rage at him. Insulting him and ordering him to leave the mansion. Claiming he's the true heir.

"You don't belong here, Savador. Guards, throw him out! " Carlos ordered.

The guards look at Carlos then at Savador. Without hesitating, they walked up to Carlos and grabbed him by the arm.

"What are you doing? I said throw him out, not me. "

"We can't go against the late Don's heir. You are the one who has to leave." The bodyguards dragged Carlos away.

Emily and her family weren't saved either. The other guards grabbed them all and dragged them away.

"Savador! Don't let them take me away! Unhand me now! I'm his wife! " Emily ordered the guards, but they didn't listen to her.

The guards dragged Carlos outside the mansion and threw him to the ground. Carlos rolled on the floor, before rushing up to his feet to fight back.

"You idiots! How dare you treat me like an animal?!" Carlos roared, trying to force himself inside.

Emily and her family are thrown outside too. They shouted at the bodyguards to let them back in.

"Don't you know who we are?" Mrs Sanandrian questioned the guards. Holding Emily close when they pushed her back from stepping near the mansion.

"We are the Sanandrians. That young man inside is our son in law. We order you to let us back inside, " Mr Sanandrian ordered.

But the guards mocked them. Reminding them of Savador's order. "The Don himself ordered you Sanandrians to leave. He has no busy with you. "

They drive them all out through the gate. Locking them out, so they won't be able to step back inside.

Carlos stared at this in rage. He has been thrown out his own home by his cousin, who now owns his late grandfather's empire.

Furious by this, Carlos tightened his fist and vowed to take back his place as the heir.

"Enjoy it while it lasts, Cousin. Soon I'll be sending you back on the streets."
