“What is happening?” he asked as the entire town starts to transform slowly.
“This is not good,” he thinks as he watches in horror as everything changes drastically. The clouds above are coming closer and closer, it's like they wanted to swallow the whole townEric starts running inside his hotel to lock it up. He rushed into his room before all the lights in the whole town died off, one by one. Soon all the windows shut themselves as the lights turn off completely, plunging the whole town into darkness. At that moment, Eric hears a loud footstep echo through the town. He turns to see, the room is filled with white mist which made him dizzy as it surrounds the room and covers his vision. He looks out the window as his breath hitches, a shadow was standing in the middle of the street. MEANWHILE— In a room, two couples were partying with their music fully loud, making noise. One woman was wearing red lingerie and the other wore a black dress. She had on a black wig that was covering her face, while her hair was done in a high ponytail.“What a night,” she says taking a sip from her glass. The male grabbed her by the waist causing her to laugh and say, “Careful, I might start drooling.”The guy kisses the tip of her nose before taking the bottle from her hand and pouring some alcohol into his cup of wine.“Oh my god, you’re drunk already?” the woman says in disgust and then turns to face him while grabbing his cheeks with both of her hands. “My sweet, beautiful boy, let's go,” she says and then takes his hand and begins dragging him towards the bed.Once the bed is in front of them she pushes him gently onto the bed. “Lie down”She goes onto the top of him kissing him deeply while holding her hips. She pulls away from the kiss and moves her lips to his neck. She starts sucking on his skin, as her tongue circles his collarbone. Unaware of the white smoke entering the building, suddenly the music died off. The man held his wife closely by her back when he suddenly opened his eyes to see he was kissing a woman who had worms crawling on her face and body.“Ahhhh” he screamed. He pushed her away, falling from the floor. Suddenly the wife horrifyingly looked at him with her white eyes, as she crawled toward him trying to grab onto him.He screamed out louder, trying to run away from the woman. Then he was surrounded by the dead bodies of the children and the worms crawled over their flesh and bones. He tried desperately to escape, he couldn't escape their death grips on his arms, legs, and torso.Soon the worms were surrounding him again, and he couldn't breathe. They were too strong and he was trapped in a cage full of death. But then the worms turned to smoke and slowly disappeared. He started breathing normally again, as he sat on the ground. With his heartbeat rising.Everything vanished into thin air, and the male stands to his feet, rushing out of his room.He ran downstairs searching for someone, anything, but found no one. Then he noticed how everything went black, and everything was silent. He rushed back upstairs banging on each door of the hotel when suddenly he heard a footstep and a shadow coming towards him. He jumped backward screaming. The shadow appeared to be human-shaped, its face completely exposed. There were three sets of horns protruding from the top of its skull. Suddenly he leaves his position rushing into a room that was dark and hurriedly closing the door behind him. Afterward resting his back on the door as he listened to the footstep of the creature. It stops outside his room.He waits until he hears a deep voice mutter: “Black, Black Black sheep....have you any wool, ”the figure sang in a demonic manner followed by its hysterical laugh. As he continues listening carefully to the footsteps approaching his room.“—One for the little man who will die in pain,” the voice says, sounding angry. He remains silent fearing the monster would attack him. Suddenly a mighty force starts to knock loudly on his door. “Open up! Open up! Open up!” the booming voice of an enraged person demanded loudly.Suddenly the sound became louder, the knocking becomes harder. The monster began pounding upon his door, shouting at him in rage. The man trembles with fear and starts shaking. “Please don't hurt me stop" then he begins reciting psalm 23 and the pounding stops. The man exhales heavily relieved that he escaped, then he opens the door to find the figure gone.He steps out of his room to see the hallway desserts. He sighs turning backward to come in the face with a figure floating before him. His breath hitches as he screams in terror. “Help—” Suddenly the door closes on him, and blood floats out through the door of the room followed by the yelling, and the sound of crunching bones. On the road, Sean walked while ignoring the silence. His thoughts were occupied by the images of the child he saw earlier. When he noticed a tall hellish creature feeding on human flesh and drinking fresh blood. The creature suddenly turns to him with his huge axe that had spikes all over it. It had a rod pierced across its head with holes where its eyes should be, it was covered in dirt and blood. It was holding a giant rusty axe as big as it was tall with blood still dripping from its blade onto the ground. The creature approached him with caution. Its eyes stared into his with pure hatred as it took a step closer until it was right in front of him. Before he could react, it lifted the axe and slammed it down upon him. It missed because Sean managed to dodge the blow, as the creature charged after him.As fast as he can move, Sean sprinted to the side. He turns around watching the creature charge at him again with its axe raised to strike him, he begins to run anywhere safe. After running for about 20 meters he hears the creature roar and charge toward him. However, he continued running as he tries to escape. He looks backward before he collided with an unseen force. The wind blows strongly against him knocking him unconscious. The next morning, the whole town resumed its various activities. Acted like nothing happened last night, except for the fact that Sean was missing, but nobody questioned why and the rumors about the strange event didn't spread to their homes. Nobody mentioned to anyone about the event that had been spotted yesterday or ever existed in the first place. The townspeople got used to the strange incident. After all, they've been through more weird stuff than normal people. At the hotel, the whole passengers had all packaged their luggage, they can't live in the town anymore because of last night's event. “We can't stay here anymore" one of the passengers cried out. “We need to leave this cursed town," another said.“We have to get to the mainland, we're going crazy in this town.” The second passenger continued crying. The entire group began to argue. A couple of the passengers were arguing against going back and the rest just stood quietly waiting to leave. “We need to calm down everyone" the driver announces as he turns around to climb a chair “there is no reason to fight amongst ourselves. We will take the bus, which is already repaired, and leave before Night Falls ." The driver says.A few passengers nodded. Some were agreeing with what the driver had said. Others were not so confident. “Make sure you clean the chair," the receptionist says while looking at the driver. The driver rolled his eyes and climbs off the chair. All the passengers were happy to finally depart the cursed town. Some wanted to leave now, board a bus and leave. Everyone has their things and is ready to go. Then boarded the busA few passengers nodded. Then boarded the bus that was already ready to take the guests to the mainland. The bus slowly began moving forward, the sun shined brightly and birds chirped happily. Everything looked great, it wasn't like anything that was happening before; this is what life should look like. The passengers on the bus are excited for the trip to begin. They felt refreshed and happy. All of them were eager to leave this cursed town.In the corner of their eye, many passengers are pointing and whispering to others. The drivers turned around noticing the curious stares. The driver sighed and glanced forward driving out through the exit of the town of Scarville. "Let's just hope that I won't crash this goddamn vehicle." he whispers to himself while he drove down the endless road until he sees a familiar sign board which appeared to be ‘Scarville’ the driver turned confused looking around. “How did we end up there?” he mumbled as he turned around continuing his way down the road. “What's wrong? are we going in turns?” a passenger asked “Yes I don't know why we keep appearing back into the town," the driver says while reversing the bus until he was able to speed down the empty road. After a while of driving, they came back to the entrance of Scarville.“I think we're back where we started," one of the passengers say“I'm sure we are" the driver replies as he stops the vehicle while banging the steering wheel angrily. The driver exits the bus quickly and slams the door shut.“We've screwed again” he mumbles under his breath. “Damn it why do we always get stuck?"“Maybe we aren't getting the road properly, let's keep trying” a passenger suggestedMeanwhile, Sean wakes up to see himself laying before a huge abandoned mansion. Looking at his surroundings he notices that there are tons of old materials. The place seems abandoned. But he knew better, and his instincts told him people were hiding somewhere nearby. As he starts walking toward the mansion, he hears loud noises coming from inside the house, making him anxious. As he gets to the mansion’s door it opened by itself, he enters which leads towards an abandoned hallway. On the wall, a large painting hangs. He walks closer to the painting, staring at it.Before he is distracted by a shadow that suddenly passes behind him followed by the giggling of a child. He quickly spins around looking behind him. But he doesn't see anyone. He starts walking down the hallway trying to locate the source of the noise. His ears pick up a muffled sound. It sounds like something scratching against the glass, like claws scraping on the concrete floor. As soon as he comes upon a door, he pushes it open to see a young girl sitting on the floor, her back facing him. She is sitting on what appears to be a mattress, and she wears a torn dress. She is sitting against the wall staring at some kind of picture frame.“Hello there," Sean says as he walks up to the girl.He could hear the little girl Cry ing softly as she looks at the picture.“Are you okay? what happened?" he asked “He knows," she said softly still cryingSean was startled by the reply "he knows?" he asks puzzled.“He knows everything" she answered wiping the tears away from her face.“Who's he,” he asked curiously.“He's coming, run!” the little girl says as she jumps down and runs awayThe sudden outburst of fear made Sean freeze, his heart rate increased and he started shaking. Suddenly he heard loud footsteps walking down the hallway toward the room he was n. Without thinking he turns and runs up the stairs with his head bowed. As he reaches the top of the stairs he hears loud footsteps coming up the stairs behind him. He continues to walk faster as he reaches a door and quickly grabs the handle of the door and yanks it shut. Once the door was closed it was getting closer. He takes a deep breath to steady his breathing. He glances at the door knob only to see that it has been locked tight. The footsteps stopped outside the room.Suddenly a hand breaks through the door grabbing Sean by the throat as its arm reaches for his neck. Sean begins struggling to free himself from his grip. He tries to push the person away from him with strength as hard as he can but the guy is way too strong. In the middle of the struggle, he got hold of a lamp close by. He grabs the lamp and throws it at the man who releases him from his grip. The lamp hits his forehead with a loud thud, dropping him to the floor. Sean falls to his knees breathing heavily as the adrenaline rushes away from his body. When he recovers from his attack he looks at the unconscious man. The lamp shattered in pieces when it hit the man's head.“Shit" he mutters quietly as he kneels in front of the man. He was able to get a better view of his attacker, he was shocked to see a man with half rotten face with locusts feeding on his flesh inside the eyes socket. Blood was oozing out of the wounds and blood ran freely down his cheek and mouth. The man's clothe
Suddenly she heard sean “Hey....you want me? come and get me!” he yelled loudly.Jennifer opened her eyes slightly surprised to hear the sound of sean’s voice. Then she slowly turned around to face his direction.Sean stood there panting heavily, but he was still standing and determined. The locust rushed towards seen who already sprint towards the car with a pocket knife he held and a lighter in his hands. As he approached the car, Jennifer could see sean smiling, as he threw the knife toward a gasoline tank close by before hurling the lighter at the tank. The explosion created a huge fireball and instantly engulfed the area. Before the fireball consumed everything, Jennifer saw several locusts fall dead to the ground, dead and burned to a crisp. Sean stands to his feet while dusting his body, he turned towards Jennifer who kept on smiling at his actions. Suddenly an Axe beheaded Jennifer, cutting her head completely off her body, then later fell lifelessly on the spot.Sean
Suddenly from the darkness, a rocking chair was thrown at him with full force sending him flying backward. When he hit the floor, he immediately rolled to a door and stood up. Looking up he saw a figure with grey skin with slimes dropping from its body approaching him with its arm outstretched. The figure had its throat already slit open, with a huge mouth stache and its eyes missing from its sockets. The creature roared angrily at Sean while the two arms grab him making him unable to escape the creature's grip. Sean kicked the creature in the stomach and pushed it away before he tries to run from the creature. The creature caught up with him, grabbed his leg tightly, and threw him against the wall, the impact created a big indent on the wall. The thing raised its hands and started pulling Sean towards it like a puppet. Sean struggles to release himself but he felt his entire body wasn't in control anymore. suddenly he was being pulled into the darkness as the creature kept wait
Later in the evening Eric and some other survivors were all busy constructing a plank used to cover up the windows of the hotel. “Do you think this would keep whatever is out there away?” Eric asked with skepticism to Devian after building the plank. Devian was leaning against the side of the wooden board with his arms crossed over his chest. He shrugged before replying, “I don't know, but we should try. There has to be another way. Besides, what choice do we have?" Eric shifted his gaze to the receptionist holding a little cross while whispering and praying. A couple of police officers were watching over him.“I will be back,” he said as he approached one of the receptionists, who stops working when Eric approaches. “Hello miss," he said on his arrival before the receptionist answered him.“Sir, can I help you?” the woman asked, smiling at him while holding up her sign.“Do you have a place I can charge my phone?” “Huh? yes ” she answered after rolling her eyes.“Great, I would
Suddenly Eric is drawn back by an unseen force appearing before a cemetery gate with the all-sky dark with twinkling stars and a moon. Everyone was starting to look like a hallucination, as he stared at the gate. The gate opens by itself, and Eric walks inside looking at the gravestones and the names carved on the tombstone. Then he noticed a leaf blown unto a tombstone. He picks it up and reads the name on it ‘Sandra’His heart starts beating faster because the name Sandra meant something very important to him. But he doesn’t want to let anyone know that it means anything. Suddenly he looks back to see a figure dressed in white cloth with her eyes gone and blood spilled across her swollen tummy. She reaches her hands out towards him and smiles showing the same bloody teeth she always did before. Her lips move while she speaks with an angry tone.“You told me you will be with me forever,” She asks him, “You need to stay here,” she points towards a grave next to hersEric turns ar
Sean runs out of the place while looking back and hears Goldberg scream followed by the roar of the creature. He runs through the forest trying to get away from it.He finally makes it to a lonely road, turning to see the creature rushing towards him. He turns around and starts to run. His clothes are torn and wet, and his hair sticks to his forehead. He runs as fast as he can. The creature behind him is gaining speed.Sean looks behind and sees nothing.he thinks as he continues running until he stops when suddenly there is a sharp pain in the center of his chest. He gasps, feeling as if someone is tearing out his lungs. He falls to the ground, screaming in pain. The pain goes away for a second and his vision clears. His eyes widen in horror as he realizes that he is lying in a pool of blood. He doesn't even know where the blood came from or how much has been lost by the creature. Blood covers both him and the road he is lying on.Slowly he lifts himself and sees another pool of bloo
He continues to walk until he feels a cold breeze hit his skin. He looks ahead. There is nothing.“Stop!” a voice shouts from the darkness.Sean turns around. There is nobody. Just emptiness surrounding him. A sudden rush of wind hits him causing him to stumble to the floor. He quickly stands up and looks at where the wind came from. He hears shuffling, moving, and something else. He turns around. There is a silhouette in the darkness just a few feet away. Its arms and legs are shaking. It seems to be struggling. Sean's mouth drops open as he recognizes what it is. He runs back over to the door, slamming it shut behind him just in time as he watches the creature jump through the opening. It lands with a thud, scratching the floor before it quickly gets up and runs toward him.Sean grabs the handle, preparing himself to open it once more, as the monster reaches for him. However, before the monster could grab him, he hears a crash from above. He looks back to see the monster being pus
The next morning the whole town was just recovering from the chaos of last night. Eric is seen walking down the street with his bag while holding his camera. “I need to find the truth,” he whispers to himself while walking. He continues his pace with his recorder while trying to film everything he's going to see. He couldn't see properly because of the morning Mist covering the whole town. He kept getting distracted every time the wind blew through the village. After several minutes of walking, Eric finally sees what's supposed to be his first stop of the day: the cemetery.Eric enters the graveyard and looks around for some kind of clue. He picks up a small rock and throws it in the direction of the graves, hoping to see one of them move. All he did was make the rock bounce off their headstone. After a while of walking and talking to the tombstones, Eric finally found something. He pulls back the sleeve of his jacket revealing a small stone tablet. He holds up his camera to
Regina notices that it's just ahead of them so she sits back comfortably in her seat and watches the cars rushing past them. They make their way through the intersection smoothly and continue to drive through the middle of town for a few more minutes. After passing by several buildings that looked rather fancy, they eventually arrive at their destination. Regina watches Daniel's reaction carefully as they approach the entrance to the hotel. He stares out of the window silently, looking uninterested.“Here it is…” he speaks suddenly. She turns toward him and smiles. “This is our hotel? This is your favorite hotel?”“Yup...this is my favorite hotel. Come on...let's go check us in.” He says, taking her hand and leading her through the glass double doors to the lobby of the hotel. As they enter the lobby, she notices that there’s very little activity. There’s a couple of men who seem to be talking on the telephone in a corner and there's a woman who seems to be arguing w
He leads her across the yard to one of the garage doors. “Come on. Let’s find your car.” He mutters. “I need to take you somewhere important.”“Okay… where?” She asks curiously, following after him as they walk toward her truck. His grip on her arms tightens momentarily, and she wonders what he must be thinking about. They make their way over to her black, shiny SUV and he helps her climb into the passenger seat. He walks around to the driver' s side and slams the door shut before turning to stare at her for a second before starting the car and driving out of the driveway. The streets are filled with traffic, which isn't unusual at this hour. It’s late afternoon and most people have stopped working to spend some time outdoors in the cold rain. She watches as the trees fly by through the windshield and she realizes that this must be how Daniel felt whenever he drove through these roads. That was the reason why he didn't speak much about himself. But maybe he never truly wanted to talk
Sam frowns but drops the subject anyway and walks towards the car.As they prepare to depart, Jack pauses, taking one last glance around his home. Then noticed his wife standing at the other side of the room. She smiles sweetly, "You are trying your best” She walks over to embrace her husband. Jack hesitates momentarily before reciprocating the hug. “The kids don't see that ” Jack whispers. Sophia squeezes her husband tighter, "Your children love you, you're doing great, and you make a wonderful father. They need a strong person that will take care of them, and you just happen to be that person”"Thank you," Jack breathes out gratefully when suddenly the car horn blares, startling the couple."Can we move?!” Emily yelled out the window impatiently, clearly annoyed. Jack and Sophia nod in unison.Samuel is the last to leave the house, walking down a flight of stairs with the pipe tightly gripped in his hands. As soon as they were all loaded into the car, Jack sits behind the steer
Nothing. So she slowly steps outside and closes the door behind her, stepping under the protective shelter of the staircase. The rain continues to pour on, even heavier than before.Suddenly she hears loud, thunderous footsteps coming from her right. She looks over and catches sight of Daniel running out into the street. The rain suddenly stops and the air grows quite humid. Regina takes a couple of deep, calming breathes and tries to control her breathing as well. After a minute she hears the sound of tires rolling on wet concrete. She turns her head to look in the direction where she heard it and she freezes in place as she realizes what’s happening.A car is speeding down the road, heading straight for Daniel. She watches as it speeds up and approaches him. She can hear the engine revving loudly as it gets closer and closer to him. She can see the driver’s side window roll down and she can see the man’s face clearly. He’s smirking evilly as he drives by Daniel, who is standing froz
Regina sits up, placing her elbows on her thighs as she stares at the window across the room. She's afraid of facing what she did last night, but at the same time she has no desire to leave him alone either. He's never been so open with her before and she doesn't understand why he' s doing it now. Maybe he's scared that she'll think less of him after she found out about everything he went through. It doesn't seem like that's what he is worried about though, because he never told her about it. Even after all these weeks together he barely opened up to her. She knows that he has feelings for her, but she still feels like he doesn’t trust her enough. After a moment she gets up from the bed and starts walking toward the bathroom. As soon as the door closes behind her, Regina leans onto the counter. After spending hours and hours just staring at those damn walls yesterday, she's really starting to grow frustrated at herself. How could she let those bastards win? What did she expect? She sh
his gaze to meet hers.“Good morning.” He greets her softly, smiling.“Good morning.” She answers, also smiling, returning the gesture. She watches him carefully, noticing that despite his words he seems somewhat uncomfortable. She wonders why and how many nights he spent tossing and turning last night due to his dream. “You didn’t have any bad dreams this night?”He shakes his head and looks away. “I’m glad you stayed.”“Me too.” She agrees. They both remain quiet for a few minutes, neither wanting to talk about the events of the previous evening. But eventually they must break the silence, because he speaks up."So… You came back here? I thought…”"No, I didn’t stay here. I left immediately after you fell asleep."He smiles at her. "Good morning." He repeats, making her laugh."Good morning." She replies."What would you like for breakfast?" He asks. She looks at him questioningly. "Um, what exactly is your definition of 'breakfast?'” Sh
“Sorry girls, I just need to be alone for now" she replies in a broken state while looking at the none resistant eyes of the little girls. She was trying not to cry but was failing miserably by the end. She walks through the halls aimlessly, her head low and her mind in turmoil. She needed time to sort out what the hell had happened but she knew that wasn’t an option here. It would just mean more time away from these children’s concerned eyes. She stops at one of the windows to look outside; the moonlight was falling heavily as usual in this part of town. There was nothing special about this particular window though, it looked exactly like all other ones around her. However, she noticed something different this time around. The trees were swaying back and forth slightly; almost like there was some kind of wind coming from behind them. It was odd enough for her to have stopped to look. “Everything we dreamt and built together is all crumbling," she says while holding her locket
The first rays of sunlight illuminate the whole room through the blinds covering the windows. She blinks several times as she yawns loudly. She rubs the sleepiness off her eyes and stretches slightly. She hears a slight groan next to her and looks over at him to find him staring at her through a heavy eyelid. Slowly he starts waking up more. His eyebrows furrow and his lips purse together slightly as his eyes focus on Regina. He blinks several times and then turns his gaze away from her. She watches his face carefully, waiting for him to show any signs of discomfort. To her surprise, however, he remains very calm.He pushes himself up and sits cross legged on the edge of the bed while stretching once more before finally lifting his gaze to meet hers.“Good morning.” He greets her softly, smiling.“Good morning.” She answers, also smiling, returning the gesture. She watches him carefully, noticing that despite his words he seems somewhat uncomfortable. She wonders why and
wearing the same tattered sweatshirt as earlier. He looks like he hasn't slept in days.He slowly walks over to her, and she keeps her gaze focused on her hands folded together on her lap; trying her best not to let him know how worried she is for him. She hears him sit next to her on the bed. "Are you okay?” He asked in a soft voice. She finally lifts her gaze from her hands to meet his eyes. She takes in his appearance for a few moments and then she says. "Yes. I'm fine."He frowns. "But you're not. Why won't you tell me what happened? I already said you could leave whenever you wanted and that we were friends and nothing more," he tells her with pleading, sad blue eyes. She swallows nervously before looking back down. "I am really sorry… It's none of my business." She tells him sincerely. "I should probably go back to the living room now." She adds as an afterthought, standing up to take a step back. She feels his hand gently touch her shoulder. She slowly tur
