Everything became quiet. There was no noise, no voices. Nothing. No one.

She looked at it and frowned when she saw who was calling. It was none other than Toby, her boyfriend. When he had called her yesterday, he had tried to explain that he had lost the ring she had given him and he had asked her to give it back to him. She had explained to him that she hadn’t lost it, and that she had left it in the drawer of her dressing table because it was so pretty, so he shouldn’t be sad about losing it. That’s why she had gone into the drawer to look for it and hadn’t seen the ring when she opened the drawer. But the ring itself wasn’t important. What mattered was that he should be careful not to lose any more expensive rings that he may not find in a drawer that Sarah’s mom might decide to use for cleaning her makeup. Toby told her that he understood and apologized for his behavior yesterday, telling her that he wanted to apologize to her for upsetting her. That night, Sarah had gone to bed feeling better than ever. Maybe Toby was finally learning that they couldn

He returned to the orphanage to help Sarah out with the orphanage kids. In a way, Me Goldberg is an example of how people should act, helping others without asking for anything back. He was good at that. It was like a gift of nature that came into him, to be like this. A natural protector. He stopped in front of the church’s door and knocked on it twice. The church didn’t open at this hour, but Me Goldberg knew someone that would get him inside. Someone that was always here at this time. She was a young woman. Her name was Jessica. “Sorry girls, I just need to be alone for now" she replies in a broken state while looking at the none resistant eyes of the little girls. She was trying not to cry but was failing miserably by the end. She walks through the halls aimlessly, her head low and her mind in turmoil. She needed time to sort out what the hell had happened but she knew that wasn’t an option here. It would just mean more time away from these children’s concerned eyes. She stops at one of the windows to look outside; the moonlight was falling heavily as usual in this part of town. There was nothing special about this particular window though, it looked exactly like all other ones around her. However, she noticed something different this time around. The trees were swaying back and forth slightly; almost like there was some kind of wind coming from behind them. It was odd enough for her to have stopped to look. “Everything we dreamt and built together is all crumbling," she says while holding her locket
