Sean starts to walk down the empty street with countless thoughts crossing through his mind. The only sound that kept distracting him where his boot crushing the leaves below his foot. “Why is no goddamn person, want to speak to me about what happened that night?“ he growled while kicking his foot against the air to vent his inner race. Suddenly he stopped noticing a child standing 6 feet away from him, he could see fear in the child's eyes. Sean stopped in his position while focusing on the child. “Hey,” upon speaking, the little child got frightened by him while running off. “What's wrong?” he asked before chasing after the child. Breathing heavily as he kept wondering how fast a little child like that moved. Upon getting to a corner he noticed he has lost his way. “Great, now I lost the child and also I'm lost myself” He groans gently before kicking a nearby street pole, the sound echoing through the deserted street filled with evening mist. “I hope Goldberg fi
The nurse goes back to the ward looking at the strange little girl who kept looking at her with fear installed on her face. “Come here you demon!” she says while removing a rope and trying down the little girl. “Let me go” the girl struggles to get herself free from her stronghold. The nurse grabs the little girl’s hair before placing both of her hands around the girl's neck, the girl’s eyes turn black, and she began breathing in rapid gasps trying her best to breathe normally. She stops struggling after 30 seconds and just lies there. The nurse drops her hands releasing the little girl from her grip who sits up. “Are you better?” the nurse asksThe little girl looks at the nurse with pure disgust in her eyes.“No. Get away from me” she yells at the nurse before quickly grabbing the blanket she was lying on and covering her body.Suddenly the child clenched her teeth on her hand forcing the nurse to yell as the pain stretches on her hand. “You little witch” she slaps the littl
Meanwhile, inside the hospital, the little girl hid beside a cabinet as she heard footsteps coming through the hallway. “Where are you, come out you possessed lite thing!” she heard the nurse yell out while searching the floor for her.The little girl held her breath fearing the nurse would see her sitting by the cabinet in the darkness. She didn't know how long she can last in this situation. Her arms began trembling uncontrollably as the nurse continued moving closer and closer to her hiding spot. Finally, when she was inches away from the little girl, she quickly crawled into the room which had a mortuary label on the entrance. The sound of the closing door attracted the nurse who nodded before walking off. Once the nurse is gone the little girl crawls out from underneath the cabinet and approaches the doorway of the mortuary. “I got you!” a hand gripped the little girl’s ankle. The little girl screams in fear and tries to pull away. However, the hand tightened around her leg a
Goldberg stands in a deserted Kitchen which was dark, as it was run by rats. The smell of rotten food hangs over the place like an old blanket. There is nothing there other than garbage piles in the corner where the sinks are and the walls. No windows let any light in. A couple of lights flicker here and there but they don't work so Goldberg can only make out vague shadows around him from the lack of natural light. He has already gone through every room and finds nothing worth stealing so it must be empty at this hour of the night. He turns to see a wooden box laying on the floor covered in dust, Goldberg kneels while opening up the box. He comes into sight with dusty junk inside. It looks like old furniture or something similar. Some books and some papers are stuffed inside. One of those papers has gold writing on its spine. That's interesting. Goldsmiths used to collect coins, jewelry, and such things as this. But now these kinds of things seem to be everywhere. This
lying near the trash pile where the sink and table are. The handle of the axe glints from the light and a few droplets of blood are still sticking to it. The owner of the axe is standing beside the entrance of the alleyway where Goldberg is standing. He looks slightly older but still attractive and well-built. The man is wearing jeans and a blue turtleneck sweater and has black hair, short and cut very stylishly. He also wears glasses on the bridge of his nose which gives him an appearance of maturity. Even though he is an axe murderer. Goldberg knows from experience that murderers sometimes try to dress down the crime scene. It makes the police easier to detect if they don’t want a big bloody mess. In this case, though, the axe looks clean despite having been stained with someone else's blood earlier. So he doesn’t expect much. Maybe he cleaned it before leaving his home. That would be nice. Not that anyone can tell him anything about the victim or what the cause of death
After looking over the contents of the suitcase once more and making sure that he doesn't miss anything, he stands up straight and goes back to the ladder. As he starts climbing down, he notices that he doesn’t hear footsteps anymore. The detective probably decided to go home without finding anything interesting. When he reaches the ground, he looks up towards the roof. From that distance he can see a black outline against the sky. He knows exactly who is standing on the roof but he is still surprised because he doesn’t see anybody. He turns around to look around the rest of the block but the street is completely deserted. He begins walking in the opposite direction of his apartment. Maybe he should check out the place where the axe fell. But where should he look? If the man climbed out that window and jumped down that alleyway that is at the end of the road. He might have gone to the other side. If the murderer is hiding behind a pile of trash then he’d have to go round the buildi
she answers. "And yes, it's perfectly fine." she pauses before speaking up again. “How is he doing?”"I honestly don't know. I left him sleeping on our couch since we couldn't risk bringing him home. Besides he looked like he was dying and all I wanted was to help him somehow," he explains. "I've tried calling my mother several times since then, but there's been no answer.""Do you want me to talk to her for you?” she asks curiously.“No, it's okay. I think we both know I'm the one who can get her attention." he answers. "So what did you do yesterday?""I went grocery shopping. I bought some groceries for dinner and a couple of fruits and vegetables too. My mom said it'd be alright though if I made it easy on myself since we weren't going anywhere tonight. Which reminds me!" she says excitedly. "We haven’t hung out in a while so let’s hang out.”Goldberg chuckles. “I’d love to, but we can’t. We can hang out when we aren’t working. I gotta go, see ya." With that said, he hangs up the p
t you text or call? I’m not mad, I swear. I knew what I was getting into when I decided to hire you, but you can’t blame yourself for being caught up in the moment,” he tells her sincerely. She sighs heavily as she rubs her forehead. “Sorry, Goldie. You’re right. I’ll try to keep it down next time, alright?”“Good girl,” he tells her. “Now, how about we finish baking these muffins and get ready for the party?” he suggests, holding up two fingers. “Two minutes and thirty three seconds later,”She giggles and nods her head. “Alright, Goldie. One minute forty eight seconds. Got it.”He chuckles. “Great.” he adds. “One thing we need to do is buy those oven mitts. I don’t need you burning the bakery down because you were distracted.”She laughs and nods her head again. “Sounds good to me. I’ll go ahead and start baking. I don’t wanna burn anything else.”He hums as he watches her leave the kitchen before making his way toward the front register. Once he reaches the cash register, he grabs
