ALLIES

Byron stood at the front of a dirty and unkempt looking grave with a frown. The dry leaves and the dead flowers got him shaking his eyes and clenching his fist.

But thankfully, he was going to change that. He smiled faintly before saying, “I'm back, Dad.”

His heart broke even more as he let out those words. Don Smith, his father, had a family that only cared about the wealth, popularity and power.

“Damian should be here in a minute,” He heard the group of thugs who were not too far from him discuss amongst themselves. They had been threatening him to leave but Byron had forcefully allowed himself in.

Today was his father's one year anniversary and Beatrice had deliberately instructed these thugs not to allow anyone in here. And for some reasons, he believes she was aware he was surely going to visit his grave… especially since he never attended his father's funeral and only found out about his death when he was out of prison.

It shows how dark her heart is.
