“Shit!” Alex cursed. She turned to the vault one last time before going out of Byron's office. She had a strong hunch that all the important documents she was unable to find in Byron desk and drawers were locked and hidden there.

She moved as fast as she could but then, the door to the office went open then Byron and Carol walked in.

Byron glared at her face, down to her bag. He couldn't help but notice the file popping out of her bag like she didn't place them well.

“Hahaha… brother!” Alex broke the silence with a dry laugh that was obvious to everyone in the office.

“Andrew stay, the rest of you should leave us.” Byron said then Carol and Alex's bodyguard's left and shot the door behind them.

Andrew was the company's auditor and he had to be present since Alex was here and he was basically the one in charge.

“I wanna have a few words with you, please have your seat.” Byron politely said to Alex and she nodded without hesitation.
