NINE LIVES
The next morning, Byron woke up to a banging headache. As he opened his eyes, he realized he was inside his room in his father's house.

He was rarely here, as he had his own personal house in Pinnock but his room was set aside for him whenever he visits.

“Good morning, young master.” Fred bowed in front of Byron's bed the moment he saw him opening his eyes.

“Breakfast is ready.”

Byron sat up and touched his head then checked his wound that opened before he passed out last night. It was clean and bandaged properly.

Then he turned to Fred, “How did I get here?”

Fred bowed, “I got a few bodyguards to bring you here. You passed out due to losing so much blood.” Fred explained but Byron didn't buy it.

He remembers very vividly that he was hit with something. He didn't know what it was but he was certain that losing much blood wasn't the reason he passed out.
