“Mum, why don't you just tell me what you know? what's this about a court… testify or being a witness? I don't understand.” Maggi tried to play dumb so her mother could spill what she knows but it seems it isn't working.

Just then, the doctor walked inside. “Good evening, Margaret. How are you feeling?”

Maggi only smiled at him but then the doctor asked to be alone with her as he was going to do a few treatments on her body.

“Mum, we still have unfinished conversations, or should I say business?”

“Whichever way you choose to call it, honey, get well soon. Ava misses you!” Samantha said and shut the door behind her.

The next day, Byron had been discharged and was back at his apartment, in Pinnock.

After a cold shower, he replaced the bandage on his shot wound before wearing his eye-patch, suit and shoes.
