“Uh… I'm sorry, I didn't, I didn't mean to.” Vanessa opened her eyes as Byron quickly pulled away from the kiss. The atmosphere became awkward as they both avoided eye contact with each other.

“It's fine,” Vanessa replied. Though she was drunk, she kind of didn't regret the kiss.

“I'll take you home.” Byron said and helped her into her car. She didn't come with her bodyguards so there was no way he would allow her to drive home.

“Careful.” Byron said to her as he gently placed her on the car's back seat. In less than 30 minutes, they arrived at Vanessa's apartment.

At the time Byron opened the back seat, she was already asleep, so with the help of the maid, he took her up to her room, placing her on the bed.

While he covered her with the blanket, her phone beeped. A text message popped out shortly. It was from her Dad but Byron was unable to read it. He only saw the sender's contact was saved as ‘Papa’
