Unexpected Attack

The room went deadly silent. Phoebe thought that Marlin might suddenly strike her, but then there was a glint in his eyes. Was it doubt? Uncertainty?

Seth seized the opportunity. “You want revenge, Marlin? Fine. But you’re not leaving this room with her. You will have to get past me first,” was the reply of the woman.
