Eddie was taking a deep breath outside the hotel, enjoying the fresh evening air when Anna's car pulled up. She stepped out, her face lit up with excitement.

"Eddie! My father wants to meet you tonight. He's been really eager to get to know you," she said, walking towards him with a bright smile.

Eddie felt a pang of hesitation. "I don't know, Anna. I was planning to look for a rental place today. I can't keep staying in a hotel indefinitely."

Anna's expression turned into a pout, her eyes pleading. "Please, Eddie. It's just for tonight. He only wants to have tea with us. It would mean a lot to me."

Eddie sighed, unable to resist her earnest appeal. "Alright, alright. But let me go back to my room and change. I can't meet your father in these clothes."

Anna beamed, grabbing his arm. "Great! Let's hurry then."
