It was a sweltering afternoon as the scorching sun shined bright up in the sky causing a non stop evaporation of the liquid that had made the grasses and trees wet, a result of the precipitation that had occurred the previous day. Lord Mordian, prince Elrond, Galrut, Romeo and about twenty five elven soldiers had made up some tents in the bushes that were situated close to the Gorelish border as they laid in wait for Bjorfuran Boldfury to pass through the track that was in between two thick bushes on the right and on the left.News had gotten to prince Elrond that Bjorfuran had already begun his journey from Hobland and was due to arrive the Gorelish border in about four hours. The minotaurs looked at each other in disbelief. "Moo! What is happening here and why are you all wasting time to get me out of this place. Moo!" A richly dressed minotaur stepped out of the wagon and in anger he slammed the door of the wagon shut. He was dressed on a purple thigh length tunic, a sleeveless chain mail shirt and a golden hoof shoe. He wore golden bracers and a golden chain hung around his neck with a golden skull crested on it coupled with three silver rings on his three fingers."Moo! My Lord it is this old creature he says he wishes to go to Goreland." One of the minotaurs said while he dismounted from his horse however four other minotaurs followed suit."Moo! What is that? Two dwarves jumped out of the wagon, they were about three feet tall and they looked rough. One of them was haggard looking with an overgrown beard and an unkempt hair that reached his shoulders. He wore a faded white woolen tunic and blue breeches. The other dwarf was clean shaven with a gold hair. There were some bruises on his face and his left cheek was swollen but that did not take away the fact that he was a handsome man for he both looked and dressed smart though his clothing was rumpled. He wore a yellow robe that was stripped with black and the golden ring he wore on his pinkie finger made it clear that he was either someone of high standing among his people or he was a highborn."Huh at last, the elven fuckers have come to our rescue - my sincere thanks to all of you, I am grateful, by the way I am Lagnin." Lord Mordian and Lord Bjorfuran Boldfury rode on horses while Romeo drove the Lord Bjorfuran's wagon as they were journeying through the flat plains when the darkness had already covered the skies and the stars registered their presence beautifying the pitch black sky.Both Lord Mordian and Lord Bjorfuran held torches over their heads that provided light to the path where they travelled with Lord Bjorfuran leading the way."Lord Mordian do you trust this bull?" Lord Bjorfuran, Lord Mordian and Romeo were now upon the gates of a luxurious villa which was Lord Bjorfuran's residence in Goreland. The gate keeper immediately recognized Lord Bjorfuran and he opened the gates of iron that was locked. Upon entering his compound the gate keeper bowed in reverence towards him. "Good evening my Lord, you are welcome." The gate keeper who was also a minotaur greeted.However Lord Bjorfuran ignored him and continued his ride to the villa. Lord Mordian saluted the gate keeper and greeted him. "Nice to meet you." He said. Romeo too followed suit.On sighting them the gate keeper nodded in response to their greeting but he was shocked to see both of them and he wondered what his master was doing with creatures that he had never seen before.Lord Bjorfuran ignored all greetings from his servants and the few guards that secured his villa.
