Daisy was beaming when Archie walked in and he pretended not to understand what was happening. "Come in, son. I have good news for you but firstly, did you see Mr. Ralph's car on the way here?"

Archie shrugged while being happy inwardly watching his mother look so relieved "No, I didn't. Should I be happy about something ma'am?" He inquired and she beamed.

"Yes, you should, but before I tell you what happened, where did you get this from?" She inquired, nodding towards the groceries in his hands leaving him a bit stunned.

Archie took a minute before finally speaking. He didn't want to expose his heritage yet. "I don't know... It was from my savings and while I was shopping, I met a very kind stranger who helped me out and said that I didn't need to worry about the bills, so after he left I still went back to add more groceries. May I put them in the fridge?" He inquired, avoiding her question tactfully.
