Chapter 14

Archie headed to school the next day with a pep in his step. After his accomplishments the previous day, he was feeling fly, satisfied with himself at being able to improve his mother's loving condition, that had always been his goal and he was happy that it was finally coming to pass.

He saw a few people staring at him when he walked into school but he didn't know what they were looking at and quite frankly he didn't care about what they thought.

Suddenly he felt a presence beside him and he turned to look at Bailey who was smiling at him. "Good morning, Archie."

Archie blinked, he didn't think that she would come to him openly again. In his mind, he had thought that it was a one-time thing. "I don't know why you are here, aren't you supposed to be in class?" He inquired as he glanced at his watch.

She chuckled at his obvious confusion.

"Yeah, I should be in school, but I am not simply because we are not having any lectures today.

Archie came to a halt. "Oh? Why is that?"
