The builders in charge of reconstructing the fallen walls of Edevin are currently being busy at work, there are those that are moving the building materials to their needed station and those carefully laying the bricks that forms the wall onto each other. Even though it was a tasking job the workers did it with enthusiasm while still chatting with each other. Their appreciation for the soldiers that died protecting them and for the appearance of a noble that shows his caring side for his people, opening up his food storage to feed the hungry and lessening tax and even increasing wages all just to ensure a better form of living for the working class. This are all benefits they would never dream of enjoying under the leadership of Zarek especially after the feudal dispute that just happened not too long ago, he would raise the tax even more with the excuse of using it to rebuild the town when he actually plans on embezzling it all. With the arrival of the illegitimate son the people's li
Ignatius hurls massive chunk of fireball at the lion and the centaur, the attack grazed their skin but they regenerated immediately, they fire off their own attacks at Ignatius in midair and he covers himself in flames to deflect the attack. The three engaged in an endless exchange of attacks with Ignatius on the losing side. "Tch" why did all this have to happen when he his not around, now I am unable to use my powers to its full potential. This is Ignatius complaining about the absence of Ophel and it is definitely not because he misses Ophel. Elemental spirits are beings who reside mainly in the spirit world and in there they are able to exercise their abilities to its full potential, the only way for an Elemental to breach the gap between the spirit world and the material world is through a contract. When a summoner enters a contract with a spirit both the summoner and the summonee are bonded together until they decide to terminate the contract, with the contract in effect the Su
Ricus is at a loss for words, shielding him from the Bull's axe is a white like figure that looks like it is clothed in a full body armor, but after taking a closer look, Ricus noticed that it is not an armor but a white exoskeleton body, Ricus jogged through his memory log to see if he could recall having any news on a type of monster with white exoskeleton and a firmly built body, no matter how Ricus tried, he found no positive results, the only monster that bears similarities to the ione in firoinnt of him is an ant but unlike the ant the monster is firmly built and the white body is unlike nothing he had ever seen. He knew one thing for sure and that is the monster before him is strong If he can leisurely stop an attack from an SSS Class monster with just one hand despite the difference in weight. Ricus felt fear and intimidation at the monster standing before him. Even though he had just been saved by the monster does not guarantee that the monster is on Ricus's side, it could b
Ricus surveyed his surroundings and noticed something odd, ants the same color as Acestes were roaming the streets no not roaming, it looked like they were searching for something. Ricus wondered if they were with Acestes since they have similar body structure except Acestes is bigger and better built in various ways. Ricus stopped in his tracks to monitor their actions, he noticed that the ants have seen him yet they do not attack infact there were unbothered about him, their attention and focus was to rummage through the fallen buildings in search of something. This further made it known to Ricus that the ants are not his enemies, As if to prove Ricus's claim to be true one of the ants pulled out an adult man from an already ruined building and rather than being thankful the man ran for his dear life, well it is understandable regardless of whether the ants are good or bad they are still monsters and a monster saving a human is unheard of. The ant however did not make any signs of be
When Achlys informed me of Edevin's situation during my meeting with the Queen i strived to get here faster, if it was not for the elves and their high security casting advanced level barrier spell on their territory. To be able to teleport one would have to stray far away from the portal leading to the elf kingdom before one can have access to any space Manipulation techniques that is why I was unable to arrive earlier. I even had to leave behind my escorts since they would only slow me down when running far from the portal. I told Achlys to inform Acestes to send out the ants to aid Edevin, normally I wouldn't have as I did not want to resort to making the ants go public for now, my initial plan was to hide the ants and my capabilities until i have all my cards at hand but now it seems that will not be possible. I really underestimated Zarek's enemies seeing as how one person caused this much distruction in a span of how many hours, this really leaves me speechless. Is this world so
"Clank Clank"!!!! The sound of two hard components hitting against each other could be heard, waves in the shape of slashes were being emitted and the only thing that could be identified as the cause is two white line crossing together up in the air as it goes up sideways and downwards, no place is off limits for the white lines. This two white lines comprises of Ophel and gemini, they were moving so fast that everyone present there could only see them in a line shape. Their ice blades crossed gemini then used the force to push Ophel further down crashing him into one of the buildings, Ophel stood back up like nothing happened. Ophel who is still standing on the collapsed building created multiple swords using ice element and sent it towards gemini, gemini also created multiple swords made of ice, the two swords of different elements met and canceled out each other. Ophel knows that there will not be an end to this fight if things keep on going like this, their method of combat and u
Dian Vosloo who is in his office is currently in a disheveled mood, in front of him is the accounting list of the resources that was spent for the war expedition. He had already bet everything on them taking control of Edevin and then sharing the profits with the other Lord's but all his plan went down the drain because of one unknown entity. How could just one person take out a whole fifty thousand it is theoretically and practically impossible but it did happen and he witnessed it with his very own eyes. For him it is an unfortunate event he wished he had never participated in, not only his he in debt now he also has his head full about Edevin suddenly invading them. Edevin already showed that it has the capabilities and resources needed to take his city whenever they want so it is a possibility that can come true, Dian Vosloo tries to think of any lord he can ally himself with that will be strong enough to protect him if Edevin does decide on an Invasion but then again to ally hims
Stepping on the cold iced floor made me realize something "I went too far". My actions have officially made Edevin a nonhabitable place for lifeforms without an ice Nullification or ice resistance skill. It would have been easy for me to kill him with a sword or any other object but that punishment seems rather mild. Giving him death is far too pitiful for his crimes, "Tampering with what belongs to me is an offense of the highest order so I gave him a punishment deserving of the crime by sentencing him to an eternity in my ice prison. To make certain that this was possible I reinforced the ice with every mana it needs, on the outside it might seem like the ice would melt with enough exposure to sunlight and the passage of time but that isn't to be. Although the process of me making the ice prison seemed fast enough for even my opponent to not be able to react to but to me it seemed like years had gone by before I could make a fragment of the ice, a technique similar to stopping tim
