Volume 3. Chapter 10 A Change

This circle absorbs people's negative energy and gets a lot of great power. 

“What should I do about this…master Vail.” King Ligt didn't know what was happening. 

"King!" One of the soldiers came. 

"What is it?" 

“Everyone was so strange, they were holding their faces. It's like something is absorbing their life force.” Soldier informed. 

“Ligt, why does everyone seem to have their souls taken?” Neii came in so confused. 

“Aaa...!”

Everyone screamed in pain, as if something was making them almost leave their bodies. 

“Academy head!” 

A teacher came and told Lina. All the students screamed hysterically, for no reason. 

“Something was taken from their bodies?” Lina was so surprised. 

“The cause is probably the circle.” 

"You guys-" 

“Vail!” 

Lina and the others saw Vail, Cini, and Rii experiencing something similar. 

"Something big, like sucking our energy," Rii informed. 

"I can't stand..." Cini knelt and fell. 

“AA!” 

The effect of this circle is getting bigger, everyone in the world feels something very painful, except for the followers of the demon king Badou. 

All negative energy is forcibly taken by the circle. 

“...” Badou laughed so happily, seeing what was happening in the outside world through the viewing mirror. 

“If the power of darkness gathers again, the item that my master gave me. Will return to my hands again.” 

"Absorb more negative energy from people, so that my Zerklace will appear in this world."

Badou was so happy and excited, he couldn't wait to get the item that had been given to him.

“If the circle becomes active, it will be your enemy. Will dominate this world.” 

“How do I—” Asino had no longer seen the mysterious person. 

“Aaah!” Kila screamed again in pain. Indicates that the time that was previously stopped is running again. 

"I don't feel any pain or anything anymore." Asino was so surprised. 

"Help! Please make my friend get protection too…” Asino shouted. 

“….” Asino got a voice in her head.

She followed what the voice ordered and touched her friend. Kila didn't feel anything painful.

Asino said that they were asked to destroy the circle in the sky before it was too late. 

The two of them immediately rushed towards the circle. 

“My head!” All the disciples within the academy had almost reached the limit.

"What's wrong, Laefrot?" 

“Your two subordinates, Kila and Asino. Attacking the circle we have created.” Laefrot informed. 

“….” Badou immediately looked from behind the viewing mirror. 

“Let those fools do their thing, or you can beat them up to your heart's content, Laefrot.”  

“Thank you, my lord, you are so kind to me. I am Laefrot, your loyal follower. Will do my best.” Laefrot stood up and walked out to fight Asino and Kila. 

Laefrot ordered his subordinates, to protect the four sides of the eye where the circle or symbol for Ynum's magic was created. 

“This circle, it seems like it doesn't just consume energy. But it also eats up everyone's memories." 

“I congratulate you on your knowledge.” Laefrot clapped his hands together. 

“Laefrot…you.” Lina, who was holding her head, saw Laefrot confirm Asino's words. 

“Haha…you better just shut up and watch, demon king Lina.” Laefrot was so happy to see Lina suffer. 

“My head feels like it's going to explode!” Maya was in so much pain. 

“Be happy, for the true demon king is our master. Still asking us to hold this magic, from activating until he requests it.” Laefrot speaks highly of the demon king Badou.

This can happen due to the friction of two magical powers equally. This caused Kila and Asino's protection to become neutral and then disappear.

“My head!” Asino was in so much pain.

The negative energy attracted by the circle made her see something vague again. 

“Damn! Damned demon king! How dare you…” Laefrot kicked and continued to kick Lina who was in so much pain holding back the pain in his head.

“This memory…” Asino said in her mind. She saw that there was a mysterious masked person from a vague vision inside her.

“I see, so you are Prince Gerna. From the world of timelines and places where you lost your home. Brother Vail.” 

"Ha ha ha…! That woman might have gone crazy, because her memories were being forcibly withdrawn by the circle we created.” Laefrot was very happy to see Asino say things that were not clear. 

“Light, hope, bond.” 

Simultaneously, Laefrot received orders from his master to create forbidden magic, namely Celos magic and asked to collide the magic with Ynom's magic.

Right when Celos' magic was created, Ynom's magic circle was immediately consumed by Celos' magic. As a result of the two huge forces colliding with each other, a powerful energy wave exploded. 

“….” Everyone fainted without anyone waking up. 

“This way, I can manipulate time again.” Badou smiled happily. 

“As long as I'm in the past, you keep walking. I will return to this time, after finishing eliminating something.” Badou asked all his remaining subordinates to continue his mission.

The dimensional circle opens, and Badou happily enters the circle. disappeared again. 

The following day, Vail, Rii, and Cini woke up in their shack in the forest. 

"Why are we here?" Cini was so confused. 

“I don't know why, but it's clear. It's almost noon." Rii looked at the sun that was about to rise. 

The three of them bathed in a river not far from that place, after which they immediately teleported to the academy. 

"Why do we seem to be seen as full of hatred?" Cini was so surprised by all the academy students who looked at them with hateful eyes. 

“….” Vail saw Maya walking alone from the dormitory. 

“Maya!” Rii waved at Maya. 

"...." Maya was so scared by the person who was waving at her. 

The three of them saw Maya immediately run to class. 

"Why is Maya running?" Vail was so confused. 

"Maybe because people are embarrassed to see it," Rii informed. 

“Look! The academy head has arrived, with Princess Hana." Said someone among all the students.

“How about we ask Lina? Maybe he knows something.” Cini suggested. 

Rii and Vail agreed to Cini's proposal. 

They went to the room where the head of the academy was, to ask about what they didn't know. 

Knock. Knock. Knock. 

“Come in.” Said a voice from behind the door. 

“….” The door opened. And the three of them went inside. 

"New face? Moreover, they already have a uniform from this academy." Lina said that in her mind, she was full of astonishment. 

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Lina said so formally. 

“Sorry, if it bothers you. We came to ask something about yesterday.” Vail informed. 

“Moreover, why outside? People look at us with hate?” Cini said what he wanted to know and was confused about.

"Your question is too ambiguous," Lina answered Vail's question. 

"It's natural for you to be feared, you were the killers of our ancestors a thousand years ago. And come back without guilt.” Lina informed.

“….” Lina slammed her hand on the table. 

“You guys have to be polite to me.” Lina was so angry.

There was a sound of explosion from the academy head's room, all the students and teacher looked at their academy head. They attacked three unknown people.

Lina informed me that the killer of the great ancestor had risen. And asked all her students to defeat Vail, Rii, and Cini. 

“Yes…” Everyone answered the call from the demon king Lina. 

They all attacked from below to help the demon king Lina. 

“Vail, Cini. We'd better go— " Rii stopped the words. He was hit by an attack launched by one of the students. 

“Be careful, our opponent is the murderer of our beloved ancestor,” Lina asked everyone who helped to be alert. 

"Attack-" 

“They disappeared?” 

Everyone who witnessed this was so amazed, the enemy they attacked just disappeared. 

“…..” The three of them appeared in the forest. 

“Thank you, Etina.” Vail was so happy, Etina wanted to help them. 

“Don't thank me. We are very upset and want to kill you, because you all have killed the great ancestor. However, you are not like those described in ancient literature.” Etina told him why he was helping. 

"Ancient literature?" Rii was so surprised.

"You guys piss me off, I regret helping you." Etina regrets helping the three of them. 

“You are people who were summoned from another world and killed our great ancestors. Then, when we chased you to the ends of the world...what we found, you just disappeared." Etina said she clenched her hands into fists very tightly.

Etina immediately left without saying anything, she didn't want to get even more annoyed. 

They decided to go to the Ruga forest, to get protection.
